Location was perfect. We were attending concert in church nearby.
Breakfast was good.
Room and bed were clean and comfortable. Loved the big bed.
Radiator could do with a clean inside. Also cobweb above curtain rail.
Table service for a drink didn’t appear to be the best system.
Liked being right on the river. Lovely room with a big bath excellent breakfast.Staff were very helpful
Easy check in, room was spacious, bar and restaurant were lovely. Great breakfast and I looked onto the river.
Staff were all very helpful and friendly!
The hotel was easy to reach by car and had a spacious carpark. The staff was very friendly and the room was spacious. The restaurant was very accomodating to us considering our dietary restrictions (coeliac and dairy-free) and helped us pick and choose and/or adapt certain menu items to make a full meal possible (both for dinner and breakfast).
The dinner menu was a bit expensive because most of what we were allowed to eat were prime cuts of meat.
Great location close to the centre and the river
Location was lovely, staff friendly and polite secure safe parking in private car park Very good breakfast.
Accommodation was in the building next door and we were on the top floor facing the rear of the building. No lift. The room was clean and comfortable, the shower was very tight and we are not ‘large’ people. It was warm and cosy.
Location. Staff. Bar
Room was in the eaves of the annex. Couldn't stand in the room and had to climb 4 flights of stairs with luggage. No lift
Location for Eden Court Theatre. Lovely room and very good breakfast.
Location and secure car parking.
Location of room. It was on the 3rd floor with a door just outside the room door to open to get into the room. Very difficult and awkward while carrying 2 bags.
We loved the location. A short very pleasant rover walk takes you into the centre of town in 10 minutes.
Staff very friendly. The piano bar is excellent and we had 2 great evenings of entertainment.
Breakfasts were delicious. Freshly cooked and very well presented. Hotel is spotlessly clean.
Only thing that we can complain about was the temperature of the room. It was rather chilly and there was little heat from the radiators.
The room is not soundproof - any hallway, doors opening and shutting, and neighbor noise is clearly heard, despite the listing claiming otherwise. When we mentioned this at reception, we were told “yes..it’s an old building,” which does not justify advertising it as soundproof.
Every morning at 7 am, the ventilation system forced strong coffee smells into the room, waking us and completely ruining our rest.
On top of this, the deluxe room had cleanliness issues, including dirty cups, toothpaste residue, and stained bedding.
Excellent location. Room was nice but needing a bit of TLC, however, for the price paid, it was fine. Great breakfast and friendly staff.
Room was an 'upgrade' but didnt quite feel like that.
Nice friendly waiting staff and cleaning staff exceptional breakfast & comfortable room & bed
