In which room Monica Bellucci stayed ?
Pros:

Ir must have been a grandiose hotel, we were told even M. Bellucci stayed there, once long ago.. as such the hotel needs a renewing of the rooms, bathrooms, building.

Cons:

We definitely prefer smaller hotels were you are just not another number.

Relaxing ☺️
Pros:

Grand Hotel Villa Politi is a historic hotel which brings sense of old times with modern facilities. Everything was perfect in that place, the room was spacious with a nice bathroom and the best highlight is the balcony and the view. From the balcony you can see a garden on the ruins and the sea, all combined made an unforgettable view every morning ❤️ The staff was very helpful and polite. The pool was an amazing option to relax and spend some time under the sun. The breakfast was great too, we enjoyed different pastries and sweets, and of course the room where breakfast was (and their restaurant) is breathtaking! I loved the property, and I loved how they preserve it with all their history, absolutely amazing. I wish we could stay longer but they were sadly fully booked even when i tried to book months ahead. But now since we know how amazing it was, we will definitely plan another trip to Siracuse someday, and visit this gorgeous hotel again. ✨

O hotel é muito bonito. Bem conservado. Ótima limpeza e ótimo café da manhã. E tem um excelente estacionamento no local, o que é algo raro nas cidades da Sicilia que visitamos.

Cons:

Fica longe de Ortigia para ir caminhando. E a internet não funciona.

Ich würde mich freuen, wenn es im Restaurant ein vegetarisches Gericht außer Salat geben könnte. Ansonsten alles fein. Sehr leckeres Tiramisu! Und sehr freundliche Bedienung.

Cinematic vibes, old money hotel and very well maintained with fresh luxurious touch, good swimming pool, amazing breakfast
Worth to to there if you want break and relax

Cons:

The shower itself can get upgraded to more quality dush with no clogging heads , and the door of shower.
Without car not the most convenient.
But we loved it

Grand old historic hotel with a nice pool and friendly staff.
Pros:

Breakfast was very nice, especially the pastries. The bathroom was massive. The public areas were so grand and historic, and the gardens were like a park. Service was very friendly, especially in the restaurant and from the nice night manager who greeted us on our arrival in the small hours of the morning. The pool was a decent sized infinity pool with plenty of beds though the bar area was shut (in October).

Cons:

The hotel is a decent length walk from the old town, so maybe not for the less mobile guests, though it was a direct route and a picturesque walk.

The hotel is fine, it is an old style hotel which was nice. The breakfast was excellent. And the staff were very kind. The swimming pool was excellent.

It is to far from the Ortigia center. You need transportation to arrive to town center.

Great old hotel but could do better

The Hotel is impressive for the value. Great swimming pool and our room was great.

Lots of parking and a 25 min walk to the Island of Ortigia

Cons:

The bathroom was a little cramped.

The aircon was very noisy and not very efficient.

The breakfast room seems to cater for large coach parties. We turned up later for breakfast and there were re no cups. Asked a member of staff and was told they were being washed. No offer to go and get us one.

Also, the breakfast was not great quality
