Really nice, luxurious and friendly service
Pros:

Very grand and great service

Cons:

A bit far from Ortigia, €19 taxi ride each way, though the bus is much cheaper

Charming hotel with lovely staff
Pros:

Great pool; friendly and helpful staff - I’d accidentally booked a single room and was put in a small double the first night and then moved into a larger double and luggage moved, all really helpful.

The walk into Ortiaga is straightforward and I did it regularly and got a taxi back (15-20e)

Cons:

Breakfast is ok. I stuck to cereal, fruit and the occasional pastry. Small things like fruit juices not being regularly topped up. Make sure you order coffee from staff rather than the machine.
Dinner in the hotel again was ok. It wouldn’t take much improvement to knock the food service into a higher bracket. Offer side dishes, anticipate when drinks need refilling.

Lage, Ambiente und Poolanlage sind ansprechend.

Cons:

Personal wenig freundlich man hat das Gefühl man sollte sich unauffällig verhalten.
Das Frühstück war einem 4 Sterne Hotel unwürdig - ohne Abwechslung - alle Tage die selben 2 Sorten Wurst, Käse und Brot, kein Fruchtsalat, kein Lachs und alles wenig appetitlich aufgelegt.
Der Gipfel, in unseren Augen, war die kalte Würstchen-Pizza mit darübergestreuten kalten, schrumbligen Pommes .....
Alles in allem das Geld nicht Wert!

חוויה טובה אך יש מקום לשיפור במיוחד בארוחת בוקר ובניקיון חדרים

המלון ממוקם נסיעה קצרה ברכב מאי אורטיגה
יש חנייה בחינם בסמוך למלון מה שהקל על השהות.
המלון מעוצב בצורה מדהימה והבריכה גדולה מוסיפה לחוויה

Cons:

ביחס למחיר ששולם ארוחת בוקר הייתה מאכזבת מאוד במיוחד בנושא ירקות וגבינות שאין למלון להציע בכלל (נאלצנו לבקש כל יום מהמלצרים שיוציא לנו מה שיש)
החדרים מאוד ישנים וקיימת בעית מזגן קשה שנאלצים לבקש מההקבלה להדליק את המזגן שרוצים להשתמש וזה קצת פגם בשהות

A grand stay in a historic gem
Pros:

Even though we were late to check in they accommodated us very well. They allowed us to dine for dinner even though it was close to closing. They were also very knowledgeable about the history and culture of the hotel. The room was neatly styled in the fashion of the hotel. Yet it had the features of a modern.

Cons:

The elevators were tight and took some time. The room was wonderful however it was smaller than more modern rooms for the same. But considering the age, history and originality of the hotel it is easily forgiven.

Mooie grote kamer met chic interieur, hier en daar wel wat gedateerd, maar overheerlijk diner, prima ontbijt, en groot zwembad met ligstoelen.

Cons:

Qua locatie is er behalve het hotel niet veel te beleven. Half uur lopen naar Siracusa en Ortigia.
