It was an issue in the room the smell was very bad

The website said to notify them 24 hours in advance if you need to check in after 9:00 pm. I messaged them twice, and did not receive a response. There were many flies and moths inside the rooms. I think drain covers might help and closing the windows before guests arrive. The car parked in front made it difficult to walk with luggages. Other than that, the property was decent. There were 2 queen sized beds and a bunk bed. The shower had a rain shower, shampoo, and body soap. The AC worked well to keep the entire place cold.

Location of hotel was great. Staff were polite. Price is fair. However, our bathroom had an unpleasant smell. When brought to the attention of the staff, it was claimed the issue had been fixed the day before. I would have preferred transparency when arriving. The other rooms looked very clean without smell when we investigated ourselves. There was an attempt to fix the issue but never resolved. The beds on the floor were very firm. The bunk bed mattresses were more comfortable.

It’s located in square area, 10min walk from temples, restaurants, Sunday night market… room is big, good for 4 persons/room, but not clean.

This was my first time in Chiang Mai. I read that many as long as you stay in the old town square you should be good to walk to most things. So I choose Home De Bear because it was in the square and it’s price was good.

I paid about $30 and got 2 big beds. Maybe both kings. It had a half wall divided in between the 2 beds which was nice. I had my wife and 7 year old son and in law. So 4 people. Same price. Hard to find. Many charge extra for more than 2 or 3 guests.

The hotel is decent. Excellent for the price. It gets the job done. The only disappointment was no in room safe. But it was ok. Just put documents and money in good location.

Room was cleaned every day. Gave new towels and water every day. The shower was hot and had 2 different methods. Either rainfall or handheld shower. Had a big fridge and microwave that worked.

My room was ready very early and was able to use by 10 AM. I also asked if I could check out late and they let me stay a few hours after check out time with any fee.

The room was not luxurious, but I did not need that. It was excellent for the price. I would stay again.

The internet worked well when it worked. They said they had some internet outing caused by the internet company. So when it did work, I was happy.

Great room and location, we could walk to the Sunday night market, bed was really comfy and had everything you needed for the price! Basic but perfect
