Location and great staff
It’s brilliant location in gamla Stan . Lovely breakfast and comfy beds. Staff were super friendly.
No A/C on a very hot couple of June nights.
The staff are very helpful and the breakfast is amazing! Meats, cheeses, bread, yogurt, bacon, eggs, crepes, fresh juice, just to name a few! The location could not be any more perfect - right.in the heart of gamla stan.
No aircon, but I knew that going in. Midsommar was so warm! Not their fault and they provided fans for all of the rooms.
I stayed here for 5 nights in a small double room which was fine for 1 person but would have been cramped for 2. There was nowhere to put the suitcase that didn't impede walking round the bed. The bathroom was modern and had plenty of space for toiletries. there was a good selection at Breakfast, I always ate early so the buffet was well stocked. There is ice making machine on the 1st floor and water is always available at reception. The one drawback is the fact that the church which is almost next door has bells chiming right through the night. The hotel staff told me they have asked them to stop this but they refuse. The earplugs provided some respite but I did not have 1 good night's sleep.
Its location in Gamla Stan provides very easy access to all the sights and charm of the old town. The staff was very helpful and friendly and the breakfast delicious.
It is very difficult to access if you have a car. Parking was very expensive and over half mile away.
A quirky hotel full of antiques and history, but nevertheless maintaining modern standards for facilities. Location excellent, in the centre of Gamla Stan with easy access to attractions, restaurants and shops and only a short walk from the Central Railway Station (with direct trains to/from airport). Buffet breakfasts good
The cobbled street outside was delightful but could be noisy from service vehicles early in the morning and from people in the evening (though it was always quiet by 23.00). No tea/coffee making facilities in room.
Hotel was very funky and beautifully decorated. Beds were very comfortable. Shower pressure was good. Breakfast was decent, although not extravagant. In terms of location, it could not be faulted - it was very central to the Royal Palace, Nobel Museum, the harbour. Good side shopping streets for souvenirs.
It was extremely expensive, and not worth it for what you got. Rooms were standard, nothing special. They were not huge by any stretch of the imagination. No amenities in the room other than ear plugs. Even the shower only had shower gel. No fridge or tea making facilities in the room. I probably wouldn't stay here again because I felt it was over priced, and I felt taken advantage of when I saw what I got for my money.
Nice and quiet room. The breakfast was good. The streets of the old town are super busy and touristy but the hotel was calm and relaxing. Very central location.
sauberes Zimmer, tolle Lage, freundliches Personal, gutes Frühstück
