The photo of the hotel is much better than the reality. The lobby is small and not air-conditioned. The gym was small and contained a few broken machines. The buffet breakfast was european style with only a few items of food. The rooms were functional so that they could be cleaned quickly. It served its purpose but many better choices can be found in the neighborhood.

The pillows were not comfortable, unfortunately. The air conditioning in the lobby was not functioning.
The staff was wonderful, and the rooms are quite nice.
It is easy to walk to restaurants.
Michigan Avenue is within walking distance.

Great location in downtown Chicago! Close to museums, restaurants, and the lake. Room size was excellent. Would definitely recommend it.

Downtown Chicago Fun!
Pros:

Our stay at AC Hotels by Marriott Chicago Downtown was amazing! The hotel was in a great location (within walking distance to Michigan Ave, shopping, and restaurants) and we were very pleased! The hotel also had convenient on site parking. We will definitely stay here again when visiting the city!

Pros:

First of all the receptionist was not friendly. There are also weird rules about housekeeping. I had a don't disturb sign on the door until 10 am, then I leave for some reason if you have that sign noone shows up after. Also if your bed has any personal items on it they would not make the bed up. Alos first day i went into the bathroom, there was a hair band on the floor and someone hair. I
