What's not to like
Everything
Excellent
Great location in the heart of the city. You can walk everywhere, shop outside your door. The hotel itself is clean and beds are comfortable. The breakfast buffet is a mixture of ethnicities.
Staff helpful. Entrance spacious
Very ordinary breakfast compared to many other hotel experiences and very expensive for what it was. Awful coffee
Rooms need updating/ fixing
This is a very clean hotel with exceptional hospitality, their receptionist Ms Liu and Ms Izzie make me feel very warm welcome to Chiangmai. Their welcome chocolate fountain also a nice welcome amenity . The hotel is at very strategy location, it is basically surrounded with night market and local food stalls. Grocery store and convenience store just stone throw away. Highly recommended if you come to Chiangmai.
The hotel has an excellent central location and very friendly, welcoming staff. I was kindly upgraded upon arrival, which was much appreciated after a long day on my motorcycle. During the second part of my stay, things noticeably improved: there were now five beach chairs by the pool, pool service became much faster and more attentive, and the check-in counter staff were especially friendly. The breakfast offered a good selection and was enjoyable. A unique and very nice touch is that the staff hold the door for you in the lobby every day—small detail, but it makes a difference. The room cleaning team also deserves a mention for being consistently friendly and pleasant.
The hotel is still somewhat dated in certain areas, particularly in the bathrooms where some maintenance, such as silicone sealings, could be improved. However, it is worth noting that renovation work has already started during my stay, which is a very positive sign. Cleanliness in smaller details could be more consistent. The dinner buffet and breakfast both offer everything essential, even if they are not overly extensive. Overall, the hotel is clearly moving in the right direction with ongoing improvements.
Bonne literie - petit dejeuner buffet au top - gentillesse du personnel et l' emplacement parfait.
พนักงาน บริการดีมากๆ ครับ
The location of the hotel is good and we were lucky enough to have a room at the back of the hotel not affected by street revelries.
The staff were friendly and helpful. The physical aspects of the hotel and room are very dated.
1. We booked a junior suite which was far from any other 'suite' experience we have enjoyed. The room was plain and lacked any touches that offset the extra costs.
2. The pool area is a big let down - its floor covering is poorly maintained and presents obvious trip hazards. One sun bed and a scattering of faded furniture.
3. Breakfast for me was fine and being a coeliac I was very well looked by one team member in particular who was truly excellent. My partner was significantly less impressed with the quality and presentation... it's not hard to ensure hot food is hot!
In summary, this is not the premium experience we were expecting and the brand management team need to signifigently invest in bringing this hotel back up to the brand quality they promise.
Excellent location – right next to the night market and everything important in Chiang Mai
Very friendly and helpful staff – consistently a strong point also mentioned by many guests
Good value for money (~$59/night)
Nice general ambience and atmosphere
Rooms are spacious and comfortable
• The hotel is clearly outdated and needs renovation
• Bathroom condition is a concern – silicone sealings are worn and poorly maintained (basic hygiene issue)
• Cleaning standards need improvement, especially in detailed areas
• Pool service is slow (waiting ~5 minutes for a simple bottled drink 19.3.)
• Very limited pool setup (only one chair – should be more like 3–4)
• Dinner buffet was average, nothing special
• Live music quality was not great (a bit squeaky)
• Overall: needs a proper retrofit/modernization
The hotel has an excellent central location close to the night market and main attractions. The staff are very friendly and welcoming throughout the stay. I was also kindly upgraded to another room upon arrival, which was highly appreciated after a long day riding my motorcycle and arriving late. The overall ambience is pleasant, and the price of around $59 per night offers good value.
The hotel is quite outdated and in need of renovation, especially in the bathrooms where silicone sealings are worn and poorly maintained. Cleanliness in detailed areas could be improved, as this is a key standard for any hotel. The dinner buffet was average, and the live music was somewhat squeaky. Pool service was slow, even for simple orders, and the pool area is under-equipped, with too few lounge chairs. Overall, the property would benefit from a proper retrofit and modernization.
amazing food - amazing staff - just simply amazing. Price was unbelievably fair. Our waiter bomb was also amazing.
