fine for overnights
Pros:

Beds were comfy, heater worked well and was quiet. Room had basic needs for just needing somewhere to sleep while visiting family.

Worst hotel experience ever.
Pros:

Nothing. I was traveling late on a Friday night to Nashville for my son’s rowing event. I had booked the room earlier in the day and gave my credit card to reserve the room. Approximately an hour and half away (after 4 hours of driving), I received a call from the desk clerk. He told me that he needed my credit card now or he could not hold the room as it was their last one available. I pulled over and called him back with the CC number but he told me that he couldn’t run the payment (he could not explain why) and could not hold the room for me. He suggested that I find a room where I was because he was going to have to give the room to someone else if they came in. Luckily, I made it there before he gave away my room. No problem with my cc payment. By this time it is after 1:00 am. I went to the two bed room and immediately went to sleep in the dark as the light switch did not work. When I woke up in the morning, I discovered that other bed was unmade and there were used towels and trash from the last occupant. The room had not been cleaned after the previous guest. I went to the office and explained what had happened. He just stared at me and asked “what do you want me to do about it?” I asked for a refund and he just stared at me. He said that I would have to call the manager on Monday. Horrible experience.

Clean, quiet, safe. Good place to stop over for the night.
Pros:

It was conveniently located just outside of Nashville. Room was clean and tidy. It was reasonably priced. Staff was courteous and helpful. Check in and out was easy.

Cons:

Breakfast was a choice of cereal, toast, or honey buns. The bathroom had stains in the tub, but as I said before it was clean. The bed mattresses were quite firm, which isn’t an issue unless you’re a softer bed person, which we are.

Two different wall sockets were completely just hanging by their cords, not attached to the wall. Curtains too long in window which blocks considerable amount of air flow, air conditioning/ heating, too much condensation interior of refrigerator which progressively got worse and large spider in shower. Also telephone in room that was not hooked up to anything.
