The room was quite a bit older than it appeared in the photos but still beautiful and the view was out of this world!
We didn’t expect a blow up soft tub but it was nice and we used it.
We booked a room with wifi however did not have wifi in our room at all, the staff were nice and tried to fix it but the honeymoon suit is the furthest away and was a dead zone for data and wifi.
I was a little bit disappointed in this staff due to the price but we made the best of it.

Most accommodations in Santorini deserve an automatic 5 stars naturally on the view alone! Truly one of the most magical places on Earth. The property itself is so great - high point in Imerovigli with a stunning view and spacious rooms - air conditioned and well maintained. Service could certainly improve - in terms of communication and follow up. We scheduled our car service through the hotel and they were late and difficult to communicate with. They also didn’t communicate before or after booking that the pool has limited hours which seems unusual.

We had a pleasurable stay at La Maltese Concept. Our room (109) had it's own private balcony where the hottub was. It was here where we watched the incredible sunsets from the comforts of our room and as the twilight turned night we glazed at the stars.

The room was an adequate size. Big enough to fit two massage beds as requested an hour massage for my girlfriend's birthday. The bathroom was cave-like, but one fault I would have to comment is that the shampoo and conditioner didn't get replenished over our three night stay and the flush sometimes didn't work...but then it did again.

Breakfast was included and the continental breakfast served to us at the Buddha-bar was enough to sustain us until lunch.

Would stay here again for the views and the quietness compared to places in Fira and Oia.

Our stay was great. Went with my husband and we booked the room with the master caldera view. The hot tub was great and we asked them clean it before we got in. They did it with no hesitation. The only downside was the restaurant at the hotel being pricey but you have an amazing view and the staff was so welcoming. Would recommend this hotel for couples and families

The property was incredible, the views were amazing, the staff was incredibly helpful and accommodating, the only downfall was the busy restaurant in front of the rooms, hard to enjoy a peaceful night in the hot tub with a restaurant right in front, otherwise I highly recommend all of it. The hotel is set very well in the middle of the island and I was able to get around the whole island in 3 days

Do not book this place!!! You will feel disrespected and humiliated after your stay. They double book the hotel for guests and weddings at the same time!! Very strange and I don’t know how they get away with this! Basically you pay to use the open area and amenities of the hotel, but every day after 4 PM, they shut down the open area completely, and they won’t even let guess to walk to the lobby. No one will take responsibility for this and they literally ask you to leave the lobby and not interrupt with the wedding!! It’s very frustrating and there’s not much you can do.

Remember, if you’re sitting at a nice table outside in your hotel, having a drink and people walk in from outside, staff will come to you and ask you to move and seat elsewhere because other people would want to seat and eat dinner. It’s humiliating in front of other people.

I’m writing this because I know people spend money and go to this beautiful island to enjoy their time, and I don’t want what happened to us to happen to anybody else’s. Do yourself a favor and look for another place.

Excellent location with stunning views. Excellent attentive staff, especially Costa the manager. Th room is huge and beautiful with tiles floor. Hot tub in the front. Great breakfast. I would stay there again in a heart bit.

What a view... That is predominantly what you are paying for here but it is stunning! The prices in the budda bar are over inflated so best to find other places to eat and drink! Breakfast choice was good and room was spacious and cleaned daily but definitely not 5 star in our experience 🌟🌟🌟

The property has awesome view of Caldera. Standard Room Suite was basic given it was rated 4 stars. Shared pool did not have any umbrella or covering above to protect from sun and enjoy in the day time. Great breakfast, out door lounge, and view of the caldera.

La Maltese was a perfect spot for us. There were 4 of us- 2 moms and 2 16 year old girls. We stayed in from 107. The room was beautiful, big, comfortable, and very clean. We had a beautiful view of the caldera. The hotel was centrally located- perfect location. It was walking distance to Fira (about 20 min). There were many places to go out to eat around the area. At night, the girls would sit in the jacuzzi. The breakfast at the restaurant that came with the room was delicious- a lot to choose from. The host/hostess of the hotel was so helpful, called a cab for us when needed, gave suggestions on where to visit, etc. I would definitely stay again.

Our Family Villa was made up of 2 separate rooms that don't join doors but rather share a balcony area. There were about 2 levels of stairs we had to walk up to our rooftop to enjoy the plunge pool. The plunge pool/jacuzzi was however sharing a glass partition with the behind neighbors who just watched us swim? It was a bit awkward. Well over 100 stairs to reach the lobby. Rooms were not well kept, several appliances in the room that didn't work such as speakers, a phone, a clock. Great price, we didn't stay in the room much however and wouldn't return to be honest.

The property was lovely, with incredible views and a nice setup. Our suite was spacious and had plenty of room for the 4 of us, and had a nice outdoor space. We really enjoyed sitting on the patio and watching the sunset. The staff was very friendly and helpful, and took care of everything we needed. It was pricey but not as much as some neighboring properties, so I thought it was a good value. The location is nice as well -- close to plenty of restaurants and in a central location for getting around the island. I would definitely recommend staying here.

It was a pleasant experience. The views were stunning. There was a wedding/ party every day at the hotel but it was all very respectfully done and dusted by 11pm. Breakfast was good and housekeeping excellent.

Because of his great personality, professionalism and huge efforts to make our stay as pleasant as possible We have enjoyed our holiday and stay in every sense.

Poor customer service to get a refund. Booking was cancelled due to Covid. They are refusing to give a refund. Do not travel to this place.

The location and views are excellent! The front desk staff and managers were extremely nice, helpful and pleasant! Anita was Amazing! she accommodated all my requests and was very friendly and helpful and knowledgeable! So was the manager Angelo who was very pleasant helpful and friendly! He offered me to stay at the Villas which were brand new he also took me to tour the villas and he even showed me how to download driving directions on Google and use it offline because I didn't have WiFi on the road. Service was a bit slow for breakfast but the staff was very friendly! I will definitely Recommend La Maltese Estate, Buddha Bar Beach in Santorini.

Angelo, Annita, and the entire staff were amazing. Very friendly and proactive to delight their guests and arrange any accomodation or tour of necessary. From the moment we arrived, Angelo made us feel like family in his hotel. Wonderful breakfasts daily with magnificent views. The sea view villas are not walking distance, so the hotel transfers you back and forth, but the wait was never long, and we enjoyed the privacy. Thank you La Maltese!

The view was the only thing that was worth it. The room I paid for wasn’t given to me and they still haven’t given a good explanation! I was supposed to have a Junior Suite with view and a Hot tub, which are below the main building of the hotel. The pic on the reservation show’s exactly what is below the main building. Instead, I was given a decrepit dirty room, that smelled bad because the walls of the bathroom we’re moldy. The bath leaked everywhere, with rusty handles and vanity tap broken. The bed mattress felt like a box spring was completely uncomfortable. And to make matters worse I wasn’t able to sleep because an electrical beep kept on going on and off all night long and day! The furniture and appliances were dirty. I’ve never experienced such bad service by a hotel, their employees are friendly, but they aren’t truthful, they pretend to not know how i was given such, room. I actually told them they should be ashamed to even rent such room, but you can tell they don’t care. Last night they moved me into another hotel they own, it wasn’t part of the original reservation, which a at first look it looked fine but the sink didn’t drain and it smelled like the sewer and they had ants. I just couldn’t wait to leave this awful place. I do not understand how Buddha Bar can be associated with such a business with such low standards, what a dishonest place!
I will review this place on different websites because travellers should be warned.
