A nice, rather large hotel, attractively built in a little valley. Good spa, which was not too full during the time of our visit. Excellent resto. Overall a pleasant stay near the very attractive old town of Krems. Possibility to come by train in 75 min, and then walk 2-3km or pay around 10 Euro for a taxi.
There was some confusion about the room category we booked (“wine suite”), as at least one room (347)in this category is very different, but actually very good. But staff was flexible.
Public transport options could be better advertised, especially as the road to the hotel is quite busy.
And finally before the stay a simple welcome mail with some infos on Krems would have been better than several pushes to further upgrade the already very good and quite expansive room.

Sauberkeit war eine Katastrophe.... Staub und Spinnenweben, dreckige Fliesen im Klo, Klospüle verklebt...Badeschlapfen vom Vorgänger...
Vsetko na vysokej urovni, krasna ticha izba, super wellnes, parking, vyborne ranajky, mily personal, moznost pozicania bicyklov a jazda cez dedinky a vinice v oblasti Wachau bola uzasna! Odporucam, radi sa vratime!
Das Zimmer war groß, wir hatten die Goldbergsuite.
Das Zimmer und das Bad war nicht sauber. Wir hatten Gläser im Bad die vollkommen verschmiert und verkalkt waren.
Das Servicepersonal beim Frühstück war teils unfreundlich, kein Guten Morgen oder so. Das Frühstücksbuffet war sehr schlecht, als frisches Obst nur Äpfel und manchmal ein paar Trauben. Die Ananas waren aus der Dose.
Štědrá snídaně se skvělým výhledem z terasy. Podzemní garáže. Recepční nápomocná při hledání pohotovostní lékárny.
I když šlo o nadstandard, pokoj nebyl velký. Kromě postele veškeré uspořádání vhodné spíš pro jednoho hosta, nikoli pro dva - v pokoji jen jedno křeslo, jedna židle a totéž dokonce i na balkoně! Platí systém Ryanair: cokoli chcete navíc, je třeba také připlatit - zejména balkon, výhled na vinice. Nepochopil jsem otvírák na láhve v pokoji, kde jím nebylo co otevřít. Pokoj bez rychlovarné konvice nebo kávovaru - to jsem od ubytování této cenové kategorie nečekal. Ve vinařském kraji chyběly na pokoji sklenice na víno! Při nemalé ceně pokoje bych očekával garáž zdarma. Hluk na chodbě po oba večery. Velmi stísněné uspořádání stolů na terase.
