Lovely location. We were on the ground floor, very very basic room for the price we paid. View from the room was a large stoned car park, very noisy when cars came and went. Bar staff friendly, little to no interaction with staff at breakfast. Discovered ants in the bathroom, in the bath, sink, on the floor and on the towels. When reported to reception staff, a mere apology was given. No refund/discount or any compromise offered. It would be nice to be able to at least use the very basic shower we paid a fortune for!

The beauty of the property from the lobby to our room. Clean, bright and well cared for. The staff were warm and accommodating.

Proximity to the Park and other attractions. Excellent service from Emma at the restaurant.

We were in room 204.From 3am onwards there was a constant noise coming from the bathroom plumbing pipes,like a constant cistern refilling noise.Hard to sleep

We stayed for 1 night
We saw a deal for 1 night - 3 course meal - breakfast !
First off there was a wedding going on so we were rushed at reception just handed our room key , not even told what direction to go
Got to our room and there was no thermostat - room was boiling , couldn't open the window as there was a carpark right outside the window
We rang up for room service as didnt want to go down to eat as it was to busy over the wedding going on
When we asked on the phone could we have room service we were told no as it wasn't included in our deal ,
We said we would pay extra for room service but it was still no
We asked what was the option for our 3 course meal as we said well have to go down and the person on the phone wouldn't tell us what the option where just that it was a set menu and wouldn't tell us what that menu was
We hung up and we're so angry as we paid alot of money for this!
We waited a little while longer and we said well just order food we had to pay €100 extra excluded room service for this meal
When the food arrived the staff delivering the food spilt some food on the floor of our room ( they replaced )
We started with our starters which was fine
We then went on to our mains and oh my god !! The portion was tiny ! The beef tasted off abit so we left that
We moved onto our deserts and we got the chocolate fondant .
They had put lemon juice all the chocolate fondant and ice cream all we could taste was lemon
I would not recommend this hotel and I really hope you could change as people are paying good money so expect to get good treatment and good food !
Pancake machine and yoghurt
Not keen on buffet style service. Other hotels we stayed at cooked to order which was much better.
Could hear a lot of noise at night when other guests arrived back.
