Very impressive hotel
Everything is amazing
Room was one of the best we have had. Beds have huge thick mattresses and pretty comfy
View from our room balcony was pool/sea and was stunning. Staff are amazing and simply could not fault. Drinks are replaced on your table before you even ask. Even saw the pool attendants lining up sunbeds on a nighttime to within cm of each other so they look perfect 👌 couldn't believe it
Only thing lacking was entertainment for kids/families. Although they do have it, its not great. The stage area on the beach has stuff on in the evenings but there is no bar open so you can't even get water etc.

Mega hotel, everywhere is immaculate and one of the best 5 stars we have stayed at

The best hotel in the world, especially when it comes to events. The animation team is amazing and full of energy, and they are one of the main reasons I would come back again.

Generally hotel is nice and İ recommend it. The only thing which should be considered more is : as it is all inclusive hotel the quality of free alcoholic beverages are quite bad.

I had such a great experience! The animation team was amazing, especially anastsia. She brought so much energy, positivity, and fun to every activity. You can really see how much she cares about people and making everyone feel included. Highly recommended!

We were a large family of 17 travelling during the Easter holiday late March/early April.

Whilst there are a small number of items worth addressing, im happy to say that the overall experience was definitely good.

Key highlights:

- Red sea: Great location if you're a keen swimmer with grateful coral formations accessed from 3 different points.
- Rooms: Nice and spacious cleaned daily. One of my niece's is a filthy animal and the poor guy did a decent job of cleaning up after her. Well done to the cleaning team for this. (Note: building 6 is probably the best for great access to pool, sea, kids club, restaurants etc.)
- Food: variety served throughout the day. I'm normally bored of the selection by day 5 but was fairly happy right through to day 8.
- Staff: Very friendly, attentive. Extra points to the Room & hotel cleaning, restaurant, reception desk staff.
- Gym & Spa: Complementary gym, sauna, steam & plunge pool was of decent quality and standard.
- Entertainment: more on this later but standouts were the boys putting on a decent fire show & tanoura.
- Problem solving: Whilst there was a problem with our rooms, the hotel were able to resolve in 24 hours.

Cons - (@Grand Rotana please consider these for areas of improvement)
- Check in issue: Im still unsure why but 4 of the rooms were delayed to check in despite the hotel having documented record of the rooms. This was dealt with promptly but could have been avoided.
- Entertainment: barring the two mentioned above. The rest of the Entertainment I watched were either very very average (i.e. the acrobatic show who put on a repetitive performance) and the magician was an utter shambles who thought flailing his hands about for most of the show with very deflated results would be considered entertainment. This was an absolute waste and an insult to guests time. On a genuine note for consideration, the magician should aim to focus on a clown act as there is genuine potential there. I must say, having travelled for over 20 years, the Entertainment is one area that needs strong focus for improvement to have a) outsource better quality Entertainment acts b) more family friendly options as some of the other acts were not fit for viewing for young children.
- Mocktails: of the ~10 available, only the mango mint was above average. The rest were either undrinkable or used very poo quality ingredients.
- Lobby transport security: way over the top with security who refused to allow our drivers in for excursions booked and had to go out of the resort to meet our taxi. We were told the lobby security was exclusive to their own limousine service which is a new one. If the reason is security, this could be resolved if we gave our name and room number for verification so one to consider for improvement.
- Water slides: 1 on site only. If the hotel invested in a dedicated waterslide section, I'd definitely come back in a heartbeat as this is a deal breaker for the kids.

The hotel was nice, clean, and welcoming. The staff at reception, restaurants, bar and housekeeping were very friendly and consistently provided excellent customer service. The garden, plants, and trees were beautifully maintained, creating a relaxing and pleasant atmosphere throughout the stay.

The daily lunchtime live barbecue was a great addition to the overall dining experience, although the food sometimes felt a bit repetitive.

Overall, I had a wonderful stay and would definitely return to this hotel. I would also highly recommend it to others looking for a great experience.

Arriving at night we were delighted at the welcome we received at the welcome we received from Ahmed at reception and also giving us an upgrade sea view room which was a lovely suprise. Checking us in very quickly and was taken to our room in a golf buggy.
The Hotel is very luxurious and very clean. The staff were very professional, friendly and always ready to help.Also food is high quality and varied in every restaurant.
Would also like to thank the entertainment team lead by ZiaAd for his professionalism who worked tirelessly to ensure all the guest enjoyed their stay and to provide us with great entertainment each night, They really turn a good vacation into an unforgettable one.
Would definitely recommend this hotel and look forward to staying here again.

Overall, would say this is a decent hotel. Six out of 10.
Shout out to Mohammed who kept my room spotless all week and Mahmoud, a whizz behind the pool bar and very friendly.
In addition, staff in lobby bar, Italian and pub all deserve a mention.
Felt like being in Moscow at times, heavy Russian presence, but no issue with that, just a heads up.
Buffet was hit and miss, seems you only get a drink offered if you tip them, which should not be the case.
Food did suffer from being lukewarm at times, go outside to get the freshly cooked meat at the rear.
Watch out for the markets outside the hotel - rip-off merchants. Got me on first day when was not quite with it.
Animation team looked okay, never spoke to any of them, which was fine by me but not really the point.
Would not recommend nor dissuade anyone to stay here.

This hotel and the service provided is up there with the best we have ever experienced. The staff in all areas were exceptional but special mention should go to waiting staff at both the Sky Lounge bar and Silk Road restaurant and also the chefs at the latter.
The rooms were excellent and were cleaned to a high standard on a daily basis.
Customer service was of the highest order and nothing was too much trouble when requesting anything out of the ordinary.
Even though it was full occupancy, there was plenty of poolside loungers without the need for a 6.am scramble evident at many other hotels.
We will be returning again in 2027 without doubt and highly recommend the Grand Rotana, Sharm el Sheikh to anyone considering a holiday to this marvellous and safe destination.

We had lovely sea view room and all facilities easily accessible. Food was really good with plenty of choice and minimal waits. Plenty of sunbeds round pool and beach area with space between. Waiter and bar service were excellent. Negatives would be not enough space in main buffet despite overflow being open. Extremely busy even at 7:30 in morning. Hotel guests were mainly Russian who are not the friendliest or politest people and some of them were very drunk every night. Entertainment staff only seemed to focus on them. Didn’t help that we didn’t have the best weather and the way the hotel is positioned we lost the sun by 3 nearly every day at the beach. The beach was man made grit so no beach walks. The jetty was great for snorkelling and loads of fish

We stayed in room 4103 and I can confidently say that Grand Rotana Hotel offers a flawless combination of luxury, comfort, and exceptional service , the grounds are absolutely stunning.
Nothing was ever too much trouble , Every team member I interacted with was courteous, attentive, and went above and beyond to ensure our stay was perfect. I can’t wait to return and would highly recommend this hotel to anyone

We had a fantastic stay here, so relaxed and all staff so friendly.
Food is excellent, hotel spottless and entertainment good.
Snorkelling great, good steps into the sea.
Sunbeds a plenty , really comfortable on the beach, not as comfy around the pool.
Bar staff and waiters great even though they are so busy (tipping will really help your service 😉).
Cant recommend this place enough.
My only advise is try arrange a late room, late check out you get use of the single shower in the gym....good luck with that.

We really loved the hotel — it has a beautiful territory and a wonderful reef.
We were very lucky with the weather during our stay: it wasn’t windy, so we could swim in the sea.
The rooms are small but quite comfortable, with everything you need for a pleasant stay.
The cuisine was excellent, offering a huge variety of dishes for every taste. The kids were especially excited about the wide selection of desserts.
We would also like kids’ animation program in kids club — there was a diverse program every day: face painting, dancing, kids movie , and everything what kids love.

Our stay at Grand Rotana Resort & Spa was unfortunately below expectations. The hotel territory and sea views are beautiful, but the rooms really need renovation. Furniture looks old, the bathroom was not in the best condition, and housekeeping was inconsistent. For a hotel that positions itself as a high-level resort, the room quality was disappointing.
Service was average — some staff were friendly, but overall attention to guests felt lacking. Food was acceptable but repetitive, and after a few days it became boring. The hotel has potential thanks to its location and scenery, but management should definitely focus more on room maintenance and overall standards.

We had such an incredible time! The rooms were spacious and very well-kept, and the food at the buffet was delicious with so much variety every day. But the absolute highlight was the entertainment team! The animation staff is full of energy and made sure everyone was having a blast. They really turn a good vacation into an unforgettable one. Highly recommend!

I stayed at this hotel with friends for 8 days, and everything was absolutely perfect! The service, atmosphere, and overall experience were excellent. We truly enjoyed every moment of our stay. Highly satisfied and definitely recommend this hotel!
