One of the best hotels in area

Foul smell in the room, spa closed, not a resort, cigarettesmoke and noise in the hallway all night.

This hotel is at most 3 stars, not 4. Furthermore, it's NOT a resort, just a hotel, which in my opinion is a scam, as we booked it specifically because of the resort aspect. The spa and gym were closed – a complete deal-breaker. Everything was old and dingy, the walls were so thin you could hear exactly what your neighbor was doing in the bathroom – absolutely unsuitable for anyone with sensitive hearing. There was a terrible smell in the room, presumably coming from the bathroom. We had booked a suite for over €200 per night and had to shower in the bathtub, holding the showerhead – unacceptable. the bath was so small only one could be in at the same time.
From 10 pm onwards, the hallway smelled of cigarette smoke.

I wonder how this hotel got a rating of 9. It was the worst stay of our entire trip, horrible. i gave 5 points but for real it would be 1 star.
This hotel might be okay as a max 3-star hotel for €80 a night – but that's it.

Good experience overall
Pros:

First line beach hotel, good location with a beautiful sea view and good breakfast, clean

Cons:

The housekeepers were very loud at the floor next to our room at 8-9 am in the morning. I did asked them to be more quiet and they answered that they are cleaning the room next to us. This doesn’t excuse the talking between the two ladies loudly slamming things around and etc .. Its a hotel overall for relaxing

Gutes Haus am Meer
Pros:

Lage am Meer, 15 Auto-Minuten vom Flugplatz, Zimmer geräumig, Bad elegant und funktionell. Um das Meer zu sehen sollte man zumindest ein Zimmer mit seitlichem Meerblick buchen - sonst sieht man den Parkplatz. Restaurant bietet gutes Angebot. Frühstück reichhaltig.
