DRESS CODE FOR ALL OUR RESTAURANTS & BARS
We observe a "Resort Chic" dress code. Uncovered swimming attire is not all allowed in our restaurants.
In the evening tailored shorts, Bermuda shorts, shirts, polo shirts and closed shoes are permitted at La Citronelle, Indigo, and Lakaze restaurants. For our a la carte restaurants men are required to wear long trousers with elegant, closed shoes. As for the ladies. We always appreciate a "Resort Chic" style.

Kindly note that, commencing 01 October 2025, the Government of Mauritius will introduce a tourist fee of €3 per person per night for hotel stays. Children under 12 will be exempt. The fee is payable directly at the hotel.Please inform of your expected arrival time in advance. You can use the Special Requests box when booking, or contact the property directly using the contact details in your confirmation.
When booking half board, note that drinks are not included.

Pros:

This was an incredible trip and the best place that we have stayed at in Mauritius. The private villa was amazing and spacious with a beautiful private pool. The food was delicious. We especially loved my dad's birthday dinner at La Spiaggo. Our butler (Mustapha) went to a lot of trouble to make our stay extra special. Every day we came home from the beach to find a yummy treat to eat in our fridge. We also got a gorgeous birthday cake for my dad's birthday!l

Not what we expected, but good value for money and overall was an enjoyable stay
Pros:

The staff are attentive and kind. There is a Constance standard and they do their best to uphold it.
They were very accommodating and tried to come up with solutions to any inconvenience we encountered.

It’s family oriented.

The food is very good.

Cons:

The location is far from every location of interest (minimum 1hr drive), and the local beach is not great - not compared to the west side.

There is NOTHING to do between 17:00 and 19:00. No food is served and the Kids’ Club is closed. Dinner starts only at 19:00 which is a little late for young children.

The hotel is a little rundown and in need or renovation. A little basic and not so beautiful.
The room standard is not as high as we’ve come to expect from Constance.

The premier rooms are unacceptable in our opinion - the junior suites are more like entry-level resort rooms we’ve come to expect.

Un superbe séjour au Constance Belle Mare
Pros:

Nous avons tout aimé et avons passé une incroyable lune de miel au Constance Belle Mare. L’hôtel est magnifique et le personnel était particulièrement attentionné. Un grand merci notamment à Navish (manager), Cameron (sommelier du Blue Penny), Smithy (Deer Hunter), Robisen (manager Deer Hunter) et Julien (La Spiaggia) qui ont rendu notre séjour mémorable.

Cons:

La seule chose qui pourrait être améliorée est la qualité des desserts à la Citronnelle, nous sommes français et un peu difficiles à ce sujet

Nous avons passé un magnifique séjour dans un très bel endroit, entouré de gens dévoués à la tâche.
Pros:

Les repas étaient excellents dans tous les restaurants, le personnel très aimable et disponible. On a particulièrement apprécié un des serveurs qui s'appelle Damree dont le service et le dévouement à bien faire les choses étaient exceptionnels. L'espace était globalement très propre et bien maintenu.

Cons:

Un peu plus d'accompagnement et un briefing sur les activités disponibles aurait été apprécié. On a par exemple appris seulement quelques jours après notre arrivée que l'hôtel avait une application ou tout était résumé et expliqué.

wonderful stay at Constance Belle Mare Plage
Pros:

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at **Constance Belle Mare Plage**, and it is very easy to understand why this resort has such an excellent reputation.

The setting is simply spectacular: beautiful tropical gardens, an exceptional stretch of white sandy beach and the turquoise lagoon of the east coast. Staying in one of the villas made the experience particularly special. The villa area offers a wonderful sense of privacy and tranquillity while still giving you access to everything the resort has to offer, including its excellent restaurants, pools, beach and activities.

But what truly made our stay exceptional was the **people**. The level of service throughout the resort was outstanding—warm, attentive and genuinely personal without ever feeling intrusive.

A very special thank you goes to **Atma, our Majeur d’Homme**, who deserves particular recognition. From the very beginning, he was incredibly attentive, professional and thoughtful. He took care of every detail with remarkable efficiency and, more importantly, with genuine warmth. He always seemed to know what we needed before we even had to ask. His kindness and dedication made a real difference to our stay and turned an already beautiful holiday into a truly memorable one.

We would also like to give special thanks to **Vezora, the hostess**, whose warm welcome and attentive presence always made us feel very well looked after, and to **Vada, our waitress**, for her kindness, professionalism and consistently wonderful service.

And a big thank you to **Kailash**, who drove us around the resort by caddy. He was always friendly, helpful and ready with a smile, making getting around the extensive resort effortless and enjoyable.

While the beautiful location, villas, beach, restaurants and facilities are all impressive, it is ultimately the people who make Constance Belle Mare Plage stand out. The genuine Mauritian hospitality and the care shown by the staff are what we will remember most.

חיפשנו פעילות (שיט) ובחורה בשם אסתר והעוזרת שלה( שכחתי את שמה) סידרו לנו יום בסירת מירוץ פרטית בין האיים עם סקיפר שהדריך גם והכל בנועם ובמקצועיות ( אחד הימים היותר טובים שלנו שם) ובכלל לכל שאלה היה מענה והכל בסבר פנים ממש וואו כמה פעמים מנקים מסדרים את החדר שואלים אם חסר משהו
אפילו האחראית שולחנות בארוחת הבוקר זכרה איזה קפה כל אחד שותה וגם מתי הוא שותה אותו אין פשוט אין מילים
חזרנו מרוצים עד השמיים
