Small and smelly room, fine for only 1 night.
Pros:

Staff was friendly

Cons:

The aircon in the room went on and off every 2 minutes which was super annoying. Also the room and the towels were smelly. We asked for new towels but the new ones smelled as well.

Okay stay - overpriced during holidays
Pros:

Location to Formosa station and Cijian station was good!

Breakfast had lots of options

Bathroom was clean (other than the sewer smell)

Staff try to make your stay comfortable

Cons:

Booked this place over their national holiday because it was the most affordable thing we could find. It was still double the price of what they usually charge. It was definitely crazy to lay $175 CAD per night for a room of this standard.

We did read the reviews so we knew it wasn't going to anything amazing. I will say that what most people complained about is true:

Rooms are extremely basic

AC was not cold at all. We had to switch rooms and it still wasn't cold. We did get a fan from the front desk which helped a bit.

After we switched rooms, our bathroom smelled like sewer

The towels smelled really bad
