Frühstück unter Pyramiden, was will man mehr?
Pros:

Alle drei angebotenen Frühstücksvarianten waren gut, das "ägyptische" am besten.
Auch das Abendessen von der umfangreichen Speisekarte ist empfehlenswert.
Der Blick auf die Pyramiden ist eigentlich unbezahlbar.

Cons:

Ich kann hier wirklich nichts kritisieren. Das Personal war unglaublich freundlich und bemüht und für ägyptische Verhältnisse und um den Preis kann man nicht klagen.

Clean, comfortable and welcoming.
Pros:

Staff, especially Manu, were very attentive, helpful and informative both before and during our stay. The room was comfortable, large, quiet and felt secure. Excellent heating and cooling.

The provision of a fridge, tea making facilities and copious complimentary bottled water was much appreciated.

The included breakfasts on the terrace overlooking the pyramids were excellent and the view spectacular.

Evening meals were well cooked, tasty and interesting with a view of the illuminated pyramids to add to the atmosphere.

The hotel had a very secluded atmosphere away from the bustle of the city.

The swimming pool was clean and pleasant with towels and changing facilities provided.

Very convenient for our visits to the Grand Egyptian Museum, 10 minute Uber to and from.

Through our stay Manu kept in contact through WhatsApp and was able to offer us advice and assistance whenever needed.

The hotel also arranged a very good guided excursion for us to Saqarra, Memphis and the Giza pyramids which we felt was good value and informative and included visits to a carpet school and a papyrus workshop.

Our booking included transfer from the airport on arrival, which was handled very efficiently and they also arranged our transfer back at reasonable cost.

We would thoroughly recommend a stay especially if your main focus is the GEM and the pyramids.

Cons:

Very little else in the immediate in the way of tourist facilities, which was not a problem for us as we were only there for five days and we spent two of those at the GEM and another on an excursion.

Pros:

Ein sehr aufmerksamer und freundlicher Gastgeber, eine gute Lage zu den Pyramiden. Der Gastgeber war sehr behilflich bei allen Ausflügen und hat sich sehr gut gekümmert. Das Hotel liegt in einem sehr schönen Innenhof nicht denen eines Riad, in welchem mehrere Hotels Eingebettet sind.

Propreté ....emplacement proche pyramide et musée

Cons:

1)Coffre fort annoncé dans le descriptif mais pas dans la chambre ....
2)Le bordel jusqu a tard ds la nuit toutes les nuits qui ressemblait à un déménagement...
3)Petit déjeuner plus que basique bien loin du standart quand on paye 150 euros la nuit ..
A titre de comparaison c est une chambre qui ne vaut pas plus de 20 euros dans d autres pays similaire ...
Ce n est pas un hotel c est un hall de bàtiment transformé en lobby avec 4 chambres au premier étage et....c est tout ...le petit dej est dans un autre batiment et la piscine est dans un autre hotel ..
4)wifi plus qu aléatoire
5)et pour clore le chapitre ..j ai demandé de me commander un uber pour l aéroport à mon départ après 4 nuits et m ont répondu par la négative car ils faisaient eux le transport pour 25 euros ...sachant qu un uber coûte dans les 6 euros ...j ai donc pris un street taxi qui m est revenu à 9 euros ....
Je ne vois pas où est la note de 9 ....

Petite pépite au cœur de Giza
Pros:

- Boutique hotel de beau standing, au cœur de Giza, à coté des pyramides, à 400 m du Mena House (sans les prix exorbitants du Mena)
- Chambre très confortable, bonne literie
- La piscine et le restaurant (délicieux et bon marché) sont communs aux 3 petits boutiques hôtels de l’enceinte.
- Vue de rêve sur les pyramides chaque matin pour le breakfast
- Gérant vraiment adorable et aux petits soins

Cons:

- Manque un petit meuble pour poser sereinement ses affaires dans la salle de bain
-Quartier délabré, mais c’est Giza c’est comme ça.

Unforgettable stay with exceptional hospitality
Pros:

I booked the Onyx Pyramids Boutique Hotel for a short 2-days stay in Cairo for me and my 10-year old son. We had an amazing time there. The location is perfect for visiting the Pyramids and the Grand Egyptian Museum. Our room was clean, spacious, and felt very new.

What truly makes this hotel outstanding, though, is the staff. From the very first moment we received the warmest welcome and felt genuinely taken care of throughout our stay. We were especially lucky that Manu helped organize everything for us. He arranged reliable drivers and, even did the Old Town tour himself and showed us the city in such an engaging way.

Manu’s knowledge is impressive, ranging from ancient Egypt to current facts and figures, with entertaining stories and wonderful insights into everyday life in Cairo. On top of that, his planning was simply better than anything we found on Google. He helped us structure our days realistically, made sure transfers and timing for the airport worked smoothly, and took all the stress out of logistics.

Thanks to his support, we could make the most of our short time in the city, relax, and enjoy every minute. He even sorted out a mistake on my side a(pre-book the Grand Egyptian Museum). We would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend this hotel.

Cons:

Desayuno muy pobre. No hay buffet, sino tres opciones fijas, todas de escasa calidad.
La foto de la terraza no corresponde al hotel, sino a un restaurante en un edificio de al lado que tienen concertado para los desayunos. No es en absoluto un área de estancia para los alojados en el hotel.
El hotel está al fondo de un patio de manzana compartido con otros hoteles. Ninguna habitación tiene vistas y todas son oscuras.
Los cuartos de baño son muy pequeños y la ducha está mal diseñada, se sale el agua y empapa todo.

A comforting place in an intense city
Pros:

The pool was beautiful . The staff were very friendly and helpful. Beautiful grouping of hotels together that felt very safe. Close to the pyramids and museum.

Had a smell of moth balls in the bathroom
