We zouden het hotel echt opnieuw boeken.
Pros:

De locatie was intiem, klein hotel. Er was een gedeelde indoor mooi zwembad. Het ontbijt was op het dakterras, Zeeraya restaurant. We hebben daar ook ‘s avonds gegeten.

Cons:

Eigenlijk heel tevreden, elke dag waterflessen, en wat lekkers! We hebben wel geadviseerd om een topper op het harde matras te leggen. We vonden het matras wat hard.

⭐ Un séjour exceptionnel !

Un immense merci à Manu et à toute l’équipe de l’Onyx Pyramids Boutique Hotel pour leur accueil, leur gentillesse et leur professionnalisme.

L’hôtel est idéalement situé, à proximité immédiate des pyramides de Gizeh et du Grand Musée Égyptien. Il est facile d’accès, au calme, et constitue un excellent point de départ pour découvrir Le Caire.

Tout le personnel a été d’une attention remarquable. Chacun a contribué à rendre notre séjour agréable par sa disponibilité, son professionnalisme et sa bienveillance.

Le restaurant mérite également une mention spéciale. Les plats étaient délicieux et nous avons vécu des moments inoubliables grâce à sa vue exceptionnelle sur les pyramides, offrant un cadre absolument magique.

Un grand merci aussi au serveur du bar de l’hôtel, dont la gentillesse nous a particulièrement touchés. Il est est allé chercher spécialement une pastèque et des fruits frais chez un commerçant uniquement pour nous, avant de nous les préparer avec beaucoup de générosité, d’humanité et de bienveillance. Ce geste restera gravé dans nos mémoires.

Nous recommandons cet hôtel sans la moindre hésitation à toutes les personnes souhaitant découvrir Le Caire et Gizeh dans les meilleures conditions.

Merci encore à Manu et à toute son équipe pour avoir rendu notre séjour aussi exceptionnel. Nous reviendrons avec un immense plaisir ! 🇪🇬❤️

Pros:

The quiet location. Staff was super friendly and helpful. Big room and comfy beds. Breakfast was delicious, authentic and had the best view.

Cons:

A bit far from the airport but you are next door to the pyramids.

Pros:

The staff were absolutely amazing! They were on top of everything. Immediate contact through WhatsApp, and they really look after you in any way they can.
The rooms are modern and clean.

Cons:

It's not the nicest entrance to the building, from the street leads onto a courtyard but it didn't really matter as it was perfect for what we needed it which was a comfortable bed to sleep after a very long day exploring

Location good for exploring the pyramids
Pros:

Very clean and functional. Close to the pyramids and the museum. Rooftop breakfast offers great views. Not close to anything walkable in my opinion bars or restaurants but Uber is cheap

Rooftop terras is really fantastic. Swimming pool is also nice, feasible do have your swimming workout.

Cons:

Both Ground level chambers have hardly any direct daylight due to a very small window looking at an enclosed space for the people working for the hotel.

Goed zonder uitschieters in plus of min.
Pros:

Het hotel heeft een prachtig dakterras waar je ook de maaltijden geserveerd krijgt. Het uitzicht op de pyramiden is adembenemend.
De kamer was een heel ruime en schone kamer.
Personeel was zeer vriendelijk.
Het hotel ligt in een rustige zijstraat weg van de drukte.

Cons:

De badkamer was piepklein wat eigenlijk in verhouding tot de kamer bizar was. Zo'n grote kamer aan die prijs verdient een betere badkamer. Telkens we gedoucht hadden stond de badkamer ook helemaal onder water omdat de douchecabine niet was afgesloten. Het hotel was nogal kil. Wij hebben geen andere gasten gezien (mogelijks te wijten aan de toestand in het Midden-Oosten momenteel). Het personeel was zeer vriendelijk maar het Engels was een probleem. Gebrekkige kennis van het Engels. Het ontbijt is een vastgestelde menu optie. Er zijn drie keuzes waaruit je kan kiezen. Zeker niet uitgebreid. Het hotel maakt deel uit van een groter geheel met nog twee andere hotels. Zeer groot maar door de lage bezetting een beetje een vreemde sfeer.

Fijn verblijf met fantastische rooftopbar!
Pros:

Locatie van het hotel is ideaal met de taxi sta je op 5minuten aan het nieuwe museum en aan de piramides. Daarnaast is de rooftopbar voor het ontbijt en mogelijkheid tot diner fantastisch!

Cons:

Vlakbij het hotel is er een moskee, waardoor je vroeg gewekt wordt door het ochtendgebed
