I (accidentaly) left my face wash in the shower as a present for the staff because it was very good.
Pros:

the breakfast buffet was absolutely amazing

Cons:

it was a little hot in the room and there was a constant air vent next to our window but these were minor inconveniences

Great, central location, for a wonderful time in Akureryi!
Pros:

Excellent location with easy access through town to HOF and the port. Very friendly staff and they agreed to store my luggage while on a side trip to Grimsey. Room size was a little bigger than the teeny standard rooms I’ve stayed in. Bathroom was super duper tiny, but workable. The only uncomfortable part was you could not sit or lay on the edge of the bed without feeling like you were going to slide off of it. Might be because they use memory foam or don’t turn the mattress every so often.
