Nice place, small rooms, but I knew what I was getting.
Pros:

Best hotel of my Ring Road drive, wonderful location and nice breakfast.
Got a tiny single room, but I got what I paid for.
Fun city and good views even from my cheap room.
Easy parking out front, but the city gets busy on Friday afternoon

Sehr gut mit ein paar Mankos
Pros:

Netter Empfang, gutes Frühstück, gutes Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis (zu meiner Reisezeit im April), tolle Lage.

Cons:

Eigentlich war es ein ruhiges Zimmer durch die Nacht, nur sehr früh am morgen war eine laute Straßenkehrmaschine am Werk die meinen Schlaf für einige Minuten unterbrach. Mein Zimmer war nicht direkt im Haupthaus, Ich musste mit dem Fahrstuhl erst eine Etage nach oben fahren, dann einen langen Korridor durchqueren um dann mit einem anderen Fahrstuhl wieder 2 Etagen nach unten zu fahren. Das ist etwas umständlich mit einem Koffer. Die Dusche ist recht klein.

Pros:

Uitzicht op bergen en prima ontbijt.

Cons:

Beetje oudbollig allemaal, kan opknapbeurt gebruiken. Douche stonk naar riool.

Very rude front line woman in lobby
Pros:

We were a group that came early.
We had been promised an early check in IF rooms were available. The booking status we were told to be good the day before by a man in charge our arrival and an early check in would not be a problem. His messege did not go through to the lady in the lobby; Dark haired, very thick and long hair. She became startled and also very rude. She then called us because we could have few rooms but we had gone out for a cup of coffee.. We were understanding but wanted to ask when we had been waiting for 1 1/2 hour. I dared to ask her again because when I asked in the beginning she replied :They only have to clean the wc and then they are ready. Later on I asked if they had finished cleaning the toilets after an hour and a half and she replied: I never said a word about the toilet!!!! Why would I ask about the toilet if she wouldnt have told me. She became more angry and referred back yo me: They havent even started on your room.

Courtesy does not cost and she is in front line of your business

Pros:

Un hôtel de tres beau standing. Service impeccable et accueil chaleureux. Dispose de chambres confortables et bien équipées. En arrivée tardive, l'établissement possède un bar et un restaurant de très grande qualité. Tout le confort d’un grand Hôtel.

Cons:

Le restaurant est de grande qualité. Les prix s’en ressentent. Mais nous sommes en Islande.

Profesjonalny personel, elegancki hotel w dobrej lokalizacji, tuż przy słynnym kościele w Akureyri. Dobre śniadania.

Cons:

Elegancka recepcja ale pokój już bardzo przeciętny. Brak wykładziny na podłodze. Fatalny widok na jakieś klimatyzatory i okna sąsiedniego hotelu czy bloku.

Hotel tradicional no centro da cidade
Pros:

Café da manhã variado, um dos melhores que tivemos em nossa viagem de 15 dias pela Islândia, boa localização, para ir de pé a rua de compras e principais restaurantes e próximo ao Porto para saída do Passeio de Visualização das Baleias.

Cons:

Sem vagas para estacionar, tendo que pagar estacionamento na rua. Restaurante do hotel com carta de vinhos limitada e muito precificada , e com taxa de rolha impagável.
