Santo Manglar Cartagena Spa Hotel

I would avoid this hotel. I wouldn’t recommend it to my friends or family. It’s remote and the food facilities aka restaurant isn’t great. Slow service throughout my stay. The wifi doesn’t work and very difficult to pay with cards as no connections. Staff are not helpful at all.

Arrive at the hotel on the 31st December 2022 and we couldn’t pay the bill as receptionist had no wifi connections. The room key was hard to open the hotel door. Took awhile to get it moving, once inside my hotel room. No fridge or coffee machine to make coffee. Shower was freezing no hot water. The food at the restaurant was awful, they Serves us rotten fish with random vegetables and deep fried plantain pancakes loaded in salt. The two night we stayed here no wifi and food available isn’t great at all. It’s best to hire a car and drive to Cartagena and use the lovely restaurants available. I wouldn’t recommend this hotel at all. The service is extremely slow and no one speaks English. The hotel room is a walking hazard area.

Lo pasamos delicioso, las habitaciones súper amplias, cómodas y limpias. La piscina grande y la comida deliciosa! El spa espectacular. Lo malo: los kayaks estaban fuera de servicio y no nos dijeron que para ir a la playa había que avisar con tiempo! De resto súper recomendado!

The food on my first day was the best part. Every day it was issue No wifi, my door handle broke, not having what I wanted on the menu to eat & the bug bites they never came to clean my room 1x & I was there for 4 days I would not recommend. The staff was really nice but that was it

Very good health controls due Covid19 to feel safe under current circumstances. It was a great plan for the family, the pool is huge and perfect for the smallest ones to have fun and be safe. The food is also very good, high quality ingredients and great service. Rooms are very spacious and nice. The spa was also amazing!

The hotel is the perfect place to disconnect from the routine and mainly to allow yourself to be pampered in a tremendous Spa after such a long time of confinement. We recently went with my family and I want to highlight the excellent service and the strict biosecurity protocols, not to forget the huge pool in the center of the property that we all enjoyed. We had such a good time, that soon we will return to such a beautiful place. See you soon Santo Manglar !!

the hotel is unique on the suburn of Cartagena, to rest and disconnect. They have a spectacular Spa within the mangroves that transmits a lot of relaxation. Delicious food and good variety of cocktails. They also have the option of a beach just 5 min away at a beach club called Santísima beautiful and modern. If you want to get relax Santo Manglar is a perfect option.

Destaco la excelente actitud de servicio de todo el personal. Los apartamentos de excelentes comodidades, estado y limpieza. No me agradó que la playa queda alejada del hotel ( hay que ir en carro) y no fui previamente informada de que la piscina estaba fuera de funcionamiento por fuerza mayor (huracan).
