Przyjemny pobyt
Pros:

Wróciliśmy do tego hotelu po kilku latach, bo mieliśmy piękne wspomnienia. Przez ten czas hotel mocno się rozbudował i o strefę hotelową i o strefę SPA. Strefa SPA mocno na plus – trzy baseny na ostatnim piętrze, z czego jeden maleńki ze spektakularnym widokiem na miasto. Zastanawia, dlaczego tak krótko jest czynny, bo do godziny 20, a prosiłoby się o wieczornego drinka na tym tarasie. Do tego basen z ciepłą wodą – mega na poziomie minus 3 i basen z przyjemną wodą oraz sauną na poziomie minus 2. To wszystko sprawia, że niezależnie od pogody, po zwiedzaniu, może naprawdę dobrze się zrelaksować. Obsługa w recepcji bardzo miła. Pokój – tym razem dostaliśmy w nowej strefie, z balkonem z widokiem na parkujące auta, bo poziom zero. Średnia to była przyjemność korzystania z balkonu. Pokój był duży, do tego strefa do pracy, łóżko wygodne, ale rozsuwało nam się w nocy. Malta to taki piękny kraj, ze aż prosi się o zdjęcia maltańskich widoków w pokoju, bo jest naprawdę zbyt surowo. Jest też zestaw do parzenia kawy i herbaty, duża szafa, przyjemna łazienka z kabiną walk in, ale nie dawała rady. Po prysznicu wszystko było zalane. Na wyposażeniu łazienki powinna być ściągaczka do wody. Pokój idealnie sprzątany codziennie. Na powitanie zamówiliśmy butelkę lokalnego wina z owocami i wino nam nie spasowało. Było zbyt kwaśne. Piliśmy inne maltańskie i były zdecydowanie lepsze. Jak na hotel **** to powinna być check lista weryfikacyjna, bo w pokoju nie działała nam lodówka i pilot. Lodówkę sami naprawiliśmy (na te owoce) a pilot został wymieniony przez obsługę. Przejdźmy do śniadań – podawane w dużej sali, z małym tarasem zewnętrznym. Stoliki na bieżąco sprzątane, za wyjątkiem tych właśnie na świeżym powietrzu. Nie wiem dlaczego. Jedzenie dobre, każdy coś pod siebie wybierze. Szkoda, że naleśniki były tylko jednego dnia, bo były naprawdę dobre. Słabej jakości kawa (ostatnio też była niedobra).

Cons:

Z minusów. Tak, jak napisałam. Nie wszystkie pokoje są atrakcyjne dla wypoczywających. Hotel pierwszego dnia wysłał zapytanie, jak wrażenia. Wpisaliśmy uwagę odnośnie tego widoku na auta. Dostaliśmy zwrotkę, że możemy wymienić na wyższą kategorię, ale na pytanie, czy może zamiast wyższej kategorii można zmienić na wyższe piętro, już nie dostaliśmy odpowiedzi. Uważam też, że woda w lobby powinna być również do uzupełnienia binów na wodę, tym bardziej, że w hotelu woda jest tylko pierwszego dnia w ilości 1 butelka na pokój, a jesteśmy w ciepłym kraju i powinniśmy się nawadniać. Taki miły gest w stosunku do gości, który jest praktykowany w innych hotelach, często niższej klasy. Jakość drinków, wylewająca się woda spod prysznica i surowość pokoju, zbyt krótkie godziny otwarcia strefy na 7 piętrze oraz lepsza weryfikacja warunków w pokoju, czy wszystko działa. To tylko takie uwagi, bo pobyt nam się ogólnie podobał.

Pros:

The staff from reception was friendly.

Cons:

The room we stayed in was not well cleaned.
Often they would only leave 2 towels in the bathroom while we were 3 people.
The shower tub was malfunctioning: hot water was cold and vice versa.
The entrance of the room was small with a big step right in front which was prone to accidents.
The parking garage is a mess and the spots are tight.

Pros:

Breakfast was fantastic, location was great, staff were good Coffee machine and capsules were fantastic. Lifts were fast. Plenty of nearby restaurants and convenience stores nearby. View from the roof is spectacular

Cons:

Staff at the Prickly Pear seemed uninterested and couldn't handle more than one task at a time and were extremely slow and weren't that friendly.
Room setup was ridiculous, e.g. lounge sitting against the wall with the TV above and behind you

Lovely hotel in a central location with excellent facilities and friendly staff
Pros:

Brilliant location and facilities. We upgraded to a larger room with a sea view from the balcony. A good balance of easy access to shops and the beach with a comfortable room and lovely swimming pool - very quiet when I used it.

Cons:

It's popular - we couldn't book for a longer stay at short notice!
