Beautiful well equipped old villa in great location
Pros:

Breakfast great. Nice to be mixed in with a variety of guests. Lovely lounge, dining and outdoor area. Great location opposite Arts Centre, near Art Gallery, good places to eat out and Botanic Gardens. Tram stop nearly opposite.
Beautiful old villa and I was privileged to be able to stay in the heritage part. Very nice touches like unlimited tea and coffee in the dining room plus fruit bowl, cookies etc, The glass of port in the evening was also much appreciated

Cons:

My en suite was fine, good hot water and everything worked well, but the shower curtains did not smell very nice.
I was charged a lot for single occupancy

Schöner Aufenthalt in einem gemütlichen Haus
Pros:

Hübsches, gut ausgestattetes und gemütliches Haus. Auswahl zum Frühstück war sehr gut, vor allem das hervorragende Brot ist zu erwähnen! Die Zimmer sind mit allem ausgestattet, was man benötigt, schönes, helles und neues Bad! Ein, zwei Haken zum Aufhängen der Handtücher wären gut.
Die Lage ist ideal, um Christchurch zu Fuß zu erkunden.

Cons:

Leider war unser Zimmern (Nr.10) sehr dunkel, da eine Jalousie nicht zu öffnen war.

I had a lovely overnight stay here.
Pros:

It’s a beautiful old villa walking distance to lots of cool stuff like the Art Gallery, the big market, and shops and restaurants. The room was lovely and very comfortable, and the common areas are also wonderful. Big fully equipped kitchen and a cozy living area with a fire. There’s sweet touches, like an old fashioned liquor stand in the hallway, with little glasses and port that you can help yourself to. Very nice breakfast. The people managing the property were absolutely lovely!!

Cons:

Limited parking. 6 spots for 12 rooms. I had to park on the street, which is limited to 2 hour parking. Was okay for me as I got there at 4pm, and it’s free after 6pm until 9am. But good to note, I think. Also, there was construction that started at 6:30am next door. Not the fault of the villa! But it was a bit of a bummer.

Pros:

Very welcoming and warm staff. Very clean.. Excellent location close to restaurants, museums, and a beautiful park..

Cons:

Room had neither AC or a fan, so the room very stuffy at night.

훌륭한 조식과 편안한 공간
Pros:

조식이 기대 이상으로 정말 훌륭해서 깜짝 놀랐습니다! 조식 시간 외에도 물과 과일을 준비해주셔서 편하게 먹을 수 있었고, 직원분들은 매우 친절했습니다. 객실은 정말 아름다웠고, 집안 곳곳에 세심하게 신경 쓴 디테일이 많아 둘러보는 내내 만족스러웠습니다.
부모님과 함께 여행 중이라 1층 객실을 요청드렸는데, 요청을 잘 들어주셔서 정말 감사했습니다! :)

Cons:

다만 방음이 조금 아쉬웠습니다. 바닥을 걸을 때마다 소리가 나서 옆방을 깨울까 걱정이 되었어요.
