Very enjoyable stay
Pros:

Lovely hotel, friendly polite staff.
Easy commute from the airport. the hotel sent in advance perfect instructions including options for routes with less steps.
Excellent gluten free breakfast items and very attentive team to point out what was GF.
anyone who is GF knows how buffets can suffer cross contamination.
One morning a guest had used the pasta serving spoon in the cucumber bowl leaving bits of pasta all over.
I asked if there was any way to get a fresh portion due to cross contamination.
The bowl was removed along with servers and fresh cucumber returned with a smile and apology.

Lovely small bar area with lovely bar staff.
Cleaning was perfect, we were asked at check in if we would like a daily clean, personally I don't need the room cleaned every day, we choose the days we required.
Scenic flat walk up the canal to Nyhaven and if required an easy stroll to the metro few mins away.
We upgraded to a balcony which was fab for evening drinks over the canal.

We used Flix bus to have a trip to Malmo, the bus station is only 5 mins walk across the main road .
would stay again - thank you

A great Journey
Pros:

The location is excellent, just one train stop from the central station, or a fifteen-minute walk. The modern building is truly beautiful. Clearly, the most scenic rooms are those overlooking the canal, but the others are also well-maintained and provide excellent sleep. The breakfast is varied and good quality. The reception staff is extremely efficient and friendly. For further information, there is a shopping center within walking distance with food options.

Not good enough for the price
Pros:

I told them a month in advance, that I'll be arriving with my dog and want a quiet room. I got the answear, that it was fine with information regarding my dog. I checked in and they forgot about my message and told me "you are lucky we have a room for you". For your information. I paid in advance and they forgot about my message. They gave me a room that was the opposit of what I asked for. The view was nice but the rooms have brocken furniture and are not soundproof. My first room was close to the elevators and the stairs and it was far too loud. And the rooms were declared soundproof. The doors are too thin and don't close properly (can see under them). The second room was quieter by environmental change and I got two nightstands, but still very used furniture with chipped wood or ripped bed cover. And even after talking with the staff, that told me the room would be cleaned daily, housekeeping told me that I was not on the list and I got my room cleaned ones during a 1-week-stay after I begged the housekeeping to do it. Never had so many problems with a hotel especially with that price. Never coming back and cannot recommend it.

Sleeping pillows were bad. I can not sleep with pillows that are so thin 😢

Kicsit furcsa, hogy a zuhanyzóban az oldalüveg nem zár se az oldalfalra, se a padlóhoz, ezáltal ott minden zuhanyzásnál fröcsög ki a víz

Pros:

Riktigt trevlig hotell i bra omgivning. Möjlighet att bada precis intill hotellet med simning och hopptorn. Gångavstånd in till Köpenhamn centrum.

Excellent new hotel in an excellent location
Pros:

Close to a shoping center, Metro and a gare.
It’s right on the water’s edge, so you feel as if you’re aboard a ship. They even have a swimming pool in the sea. Just enough to make you feel guilty for not using it. But with an outdoor temperature of 17–18°C, that would require a certain amount of Danish courage too.

Adequate, OK location once you figured out the area, center next to it is a waste of time.
Pros:

Great view, Fair location

Cons:

NOT wheelchair friendly, noise very early in the morning, staff does not understand the needs of tourist around their premises, uninformed.
Breakfast room is not a welcoming scenario.

Modernes Stadthotel
Pros:

Das Island Hotel ist ein modernes Haus am Wasser gelegen mit einem schönen Blick auf den Hafen (muss vorher so gebucht werden)
Das Personal ist hilfsbereit und freundlich.
Das Stadtzentrum ist dank der naheliegenden Metrostation schnell zu erreichen.
Das Hotel hat eine eigene Tiefgarage.

Cons:

Einziger Kritikpunkt: im Bad waren auf dem Boden noch blonde Haare gelegen….
