Posizione centrale vicino alla Wungfujing, Starbucks, ristoranti e centri commerciali molto vicini. Camera ampia, pulita e accogliente dotata di frigorifero, cassaforte, asse da stiro (nell'hotel ci sono anche delle lavatrici e asciugatrici). Colazione buona e varia.
Il personale alla reception non è adeguato agli standard occidentali e al livello dell'hotel. Accoglienza fredda, parlano poco in inglese, nessun sorriso, ci hanno chiesto di saldare il conto per l'intera settimana prima ancora di darci le chiavi della stanza e per qualsiasi cosa (dal chiamare un taxi al prenotare un ristorante) la risposta è "chiedi al concierge", che è probabilmente l'unico che spiccica qualche parola in più. Nella sala delle colazioni è capitato che avessero fretta di liberare i tavoli e mi togliessero praticamente il piatto di mano con un "finito?". Non è possibile trattare i clienti in questo modo, non so quali siano le usanze in Cina, ma in Occidente si chiama maleducazione.

The hotel is located just a 2-minute walk from the metro station, from which all the main attractions can be easily reached. The area is quiet, next to a hutong, and has a very relaxed, non-chaotic atmosphere. The laundry facilities are extremely convenient, and the breakfast is phenomenal, offering a wide variety of Chinese dishes. Allergens are clearly labeled, which is not something to be taken for granted in China.
The concierge service is incredibly helpful and can assist with booking tickets for various attractions, including Tiananmen Square. This is especially useful if you do not speak or read Chinese. The staff are exceptionally friendly, accommodating, and speak English very well.
As already mentioned in other reviews, the rooms are somewhat dated, so they don't feel particularly modern or fresh. However, they are by no means bad—in fact, the bed is extremely comfortable, and the blackout curtains do a great job of covering the huge window. The laundry facilities are very convenient and free to use, but be prepared for long waits, or consider doing your laundry during the day.
