Very comfortable hotel with excellent location
Pros:

Lovely hotel at good price in Central location with metro on doorstep

Cons:

A little impersonal and very little interaction with reception, breakfast staff although concierge was excellent and organised a trip to the Great Wall with John.

Upgrade was appreciated
Pros:

We were upgraded to a suite which was great after a long flight! While the location is not bad it is important to note that it is a bit far from the pedestrian street.

Cons:

The location was further away than I wanted to be. The breakfast for a Muslim couple was really difficult. I requested before arrival for halal breakfast which I was not accommodated on at all. The breakfast staff speak no English so even a simple request to make an egg on a separate pan was not understood. Besides the front desk staff no one else speaks English.

Good value for money (not premium)
Pros:

Location was good. Is a 20mins walk to Wangfujing Street. Staff were generally polite and responsive. Male reception and concierge staff were extremely helpful. Good breakfast though will prefer more western options eg there were no corn flakes amongst the cereal options. TV has only local channels with 1 English channel CNA

Cons:

Room while not big is comfortable. However the fridge was not working and we had to call reception to send someone to fix it. Housekeeping was inconsistent eg used coffee mugs were not washed, tea spoons and cups were not returned to their original positions. Female Reception staff can be seen huddled together talking.

Ótima estadia em Pequim.
Pros:

Ótima localização a curta distância para shoppings e Cidade Proibida, espaçoso buffet de café da manhã international, opção de almoço com buffet, lavanderia com várias máquinas novas disponíveis e com suprimentos, 3 bons elevadores, funcionários bem treinados, atenciosos e profissionais.

Tudo me agradou, certamentw voltarei.

Good hotel
Pros:

Great hotel with friendly staff, a good breakfast and a free but busy laundry room for guests. Unfortunately no food in the evening bot many good restaurants locally, especially at the end of the drive. Also a convenience store by the back doors.
