Good stay.
Pros:

Clean, quiet, attractive rooms in a good location near—but not too near—St. Stephen’s church. Comfy bed, great water pressure, decent size room (XL category.) welcoming and accommodating staff. Good breakfasts.

Very nice, comfortable hotel near Stephansplatz.
Pros:

Very nice, clean and large room. Breakfast was great, and the afternoon snack period was a nice addition.

Cons:

There are two doors that access the building the hotel shares with apartments. We used the entrance and elevator for the apartments and could not determine how to get to the hotel. More clarity on which entrance to use in the confirmation email would be helpful. This may change if/when the new reception area is open.

More or less the location of the place! The breakfast was average, but the young man who made it was the most positive person in the whole hotel!

Cons:

was extremely disappointed with my experience at this hotel.

Check-in was only available from 4:00 PM, which is already very late compared to most hotels. I had to ask the staff if it was possible to check us in earlier, which was inconvenient after a long journey.

What upset me the most was the check-out policy. We were required to leave the room by 10:00 AM, which is unusually early. My son and I checked out at 10:30 AM, just 30 minutes later, and we were charged an additional €15. We were not clearly informed about this strict policy in advance.

I find it unacceptable that guests are expected to wait until 4:00 PM to check in, yet are penalized for being only 30 minutes late checking out. The difference between such a late check-in and such an early check-out already significantly reduces the time guests can actually use the room.

I have traveled extensively, including in countries with far fewer resources, and I have never experienced anything like this. Being charged €15 for a 30-minute delay felt unreasonable, unfair, and frankly humiliating.

This experience left a very negative impression and completely overshadowed the positive aspects of our stay. I would not expect this level of treatment from a hotel that claims to value its guests.

A boutique hotel of boutique hotels.
Pros:

We stayed at this hotel for five nights from May 14th to 19th. We had booked a Beletage XL triple room, but upon check-in, the hotel upgraded us to Suite Séparée with a canopy bed free of charge.

The spacious living room also had a sofa bed, which was convenient for my son. The room was very spacious, with high ceilings, and clean. The bathroom even had a separate sauna area, which completely exceeded our expectations. We were also pleasantly surprised to find a welcome fruit platter and snacks on the large dining table.

While the reception area wasn't as grand as some four-star hotels, the front desk staff were warm and friendly. Check-in was quick and easy, and the staff explained the hotel's facilities in detail.

The breakfast room was bright and clean, and the breakfast selection was extensive.

There were variety of sausages, bacons, omelettes, eggs, English breakfast and soup that we can choose from à la carte selection, freshly prepared by the chef. The staff were attentive and promptly cleared away plates. One of the big plus is complimentary meatloaf and drinks in the afternoons from 3:00 to 5:00 pm. .

The hotel is located in a quite street, but a short walk to the shopping areas and restaurants. It is close to famous attractions such as St Stephen Cathedral.

Amazing Fantastic Experience
Pros:

Had a fabulous stay with family at the Buxbaum Botique Hotel. It is very conveniently located to all the attractions, the hop on hop off buses and the Danube Canal. Walking around Vienna is very safe and enjoyable at any time of the day and night. There are numerous restaurants, bars and coffee shops close by. The Hotel itself was super. We had a huge family apartment on the top floor which was very spacious. Rooms were spotless and we had a clothes washing machine. Beds were very comfortable. Only drawback was one toilet between us all. There were 2 showers however. The breakfast was amazing, cooked fresh to your liking. The staff were all very attentive and any request was dealt with immediately. Would highly recommend this hotel for anyone wishing to stay close to all the amazing attractions. The airport bus stops just around the corner so all very convenient for a visit to Vienna.

Pros:

Centre location, easy to get to all the sites. The staff were really friendly and very accommodating. Breakfast was amazing, freshly cooked every morning. Showers were spotless and beds were very comfortable. Super Apartment for a family.

Cons:

We stay in the family room at the top of the building which was amazing - only slight drawback was there was only one toilet in the apartment.

Location was excellent. Staff was very cordial.

Cons:

I asked ChatGPT to recommend a charming and romantic hotel. The hotel was neither charming nor romantic. The rooms were very plain, with no decoration whatsoever—extremely basic and lacking in comfort.

The reception desk is located on the second floor and can only be reached via an elevator whose entrance door is locked after 7 p.m. If you ring the bell for the check-in, you can only hope that someone will answer.

The breakfast, which had been praised by other guests, was also very basic. There was not even any cheese on offer, and items that ran out were not replenished.
