Our stay was disappointing.
Cons:

Badly in need of a good clean and renovation. The room smelt of cooking fat. The range hood had not been cleaned and the cabinetry was broken. There were no teaspoons. The TV had an intermittent fault that impacted the screen. The windows were able to be opened (several stories up) creating a potential safety risk for children.

Warriors 1st game of season 26
Pros:

Nice spacious room with well equipped kitchen area and washing machine facilities. Had a small dining table and nice couch so could relax after a busy day. Bed was ok (2 x singles pushed together) so plenty of room and comfy. Location good with a quick walk down to Aotea Square and on to downtown Queen Street. Lots of little 24hr convience shops around area for snacks and heaps of eateries.

Great for travelling on a budget!
Pros:

The room was sufficiently sized and convenient to get into town, maybe a 15 walk to get to a bustling city street. Parking below was great but instructions of how to book the parking could have been clearer.

Cons:

We would have liked if the room had been cleaned as we did put a sign on our door for housekeeping. The shower was also damaged so the water poured out onto the bathmat, and due to housekeeping not replacing the towels, we had soggy wet towels for the duration of our stay.

Cons:

The room was dirty and in poor condition. The table and kitchen surfaces were greasy, the cupboards were broken and there were a lot of marks on the walls. The shower had never been cleaned, mirrors were dirty. Overall bad. Airconditioning noise went all day and night from outside the room, could not be stopped.

Apartment fine but got an electric shock from faulty iron
Pros:

The condition of the apartment was fine for the price and well-located for the sights of Auckland.

Cons:

I got an electric shock from the iron in the apartment, because it had exposed wiring.
When I informed the reception desk, they weren't very apologetic and just provided a new iron.

I was disappointed in my room in the back on ground floor - no view.

The kitchen elements were rusty. No milk in the fridge.

Not a great choice!
Pros:

The location was good, handy for the bus terminal and not far to walk to Sky Tower, waterside etc.

Cons:

The dishwasher was broken, the shower had hair in it and the kettle was rusty. We could not find plugs for the basin/sink, presumably incase we stole them!

would not recommend this place.
Pros:

The front desk people were wonderful, friendly and did their best to sort out the TV and the blocked sink.

Cons:

The arm chair had one broken leg, I fell over when I sat on it. The curtain in the main bedroom is poorly mounted and 3 of the hooks were missing. Place was generally dirty. The spectula tip (cooking utensils) had melted and is almost impossible to use. The sink in the bath was almost blocked. TV was not connected. The shower door could not be closed properly so water was leaking everywhere around the shower door. This is like a 1.5 star hotel. Fortunately the front desk people were wonderful and did their best to sort out the TV and the blocked sink. Poorly maintained facility., Not sure if this is only in the unit I stayed (unit 207) or it's typical in all units

The staff were quite rude when we were checking in and enquired about parking. No parking was available however when we got back to the hotel there were new cars parked !? In front of the hotel where you are not allowed
