Great location and feeling welcomed
Pros:

From the moment we stepped into the hotel, we were greeted with smiles and offered complimentary refreshments available when reception overheard we were hungry.

Reception recommended a great lunch place for us to try beef noodles and dumplings which was a few mins away.

Room was comfy and spacious enough.

Location was walking distance to MRT stations, bus stops and also Huashan 1914 Creative Park.

There are always refreshments at Ground level if you feel peckish. After 9pm, they even provide cup noodles. Wow!

Our big family enjoyed our stay, clean facilities, and very friendly staff!

Staff are very friendly especially the reception staff, clean facilities, food available all day and night , kids love the bathtub, great for families

Good option for couple of days in Taipei
Pros:

Excellent service, good breakfast, free laundry, spacious room, good bed, nice neighbourhood with a lot of restaurants. Good price quality.

Cons:

Wifi speed and stability is not ideal. No charging sockets on both sides of the bed. Layout of breakfast space can be better (tables are cramped together, coffee machine placement is awkward). a bit of a walk to the subway (but you know that ahead)

If you like nice staff and decent amenities, this the place. But don’t expect high quality for high price.

The staff were really nice

Cons:

3 out of the 6 nights I did not have hot water on tap. I called the front desk and they said to wait an hour. Kinda disappointed that I paid $150/night and could not take a hot shower after a day of being out.

Nice Hotel with a Incredible Staff to make it better
Pros:

I had a wonderful stay at Ambience Hotel. The location was incredibly convenient—just a short distance from 1914 Huashan Cultural and Creative Park and Syntree, making it easy to explore the area.

What truly stood out was the staff. Every team member went above and beyond to make sure our stay was comfortable. The housekeeping staff kept the room in spotless, tip-top condition and thoughtfully provided extra bottles of water and snacks.

The front desk team was exceptional—they lent us umbrellas when it rained and made sure we were aware of all the amenities, including the complimentary breakfast, afternoon snacks, and free instant noodles available after 9 PM—a great touch for late-night hunger.

Their care and attentiveness really showed in special moments as well. When one of our family members sprained an ankle, the staff kindly provided ice right away. They even went the extra mile to recognize a birthday in our group, which made the stay feel extra personal and memorable.

The food service team also deserves special mention. They were attentive and ensured that food was consistently available throughout the entire breakfast period. Even when arriving later, there was always plenty to enjoy.

Overall, a fantastic experience with excellent service, thoughtful amenities, and a convenient location. I would definitely stay here again.

Happy staying in this hotel
Pros:

Stayed for 4 nights. Clean rooms. Not so great location to take public transport. Service was good and the breakfast was adequate.
