This stylish design hotel is directly opposite Umeå Central Station. It offers free Wi-Fi, a Scottish pub and an Italian-American restaurant. All rooms have Carpe Diem beds, tea/coffee facilities and a 42-inch flat-screen TV.

Pros:

Freundliches Entgegenkommen des Personals, die Ausstattung war dezent gehalten, leckeres Frühstück, angenehme Zeiten für den Checkout, Gepäckaufbewahrung möglich, optimale Lage zwischen Bahnhof und Zentrum

Cons:

Das gebuchte Zimmer umschloß den Aufzug L förmig, die daraus resultierende Lärmbelastung raubte Mir den Schlaf, zum Glück konnte ich wechseln. In dem Zimmer, in dem ich die 2.Nacht verbrachte fehlte der Kühlschrank und es war sehr beengt, aber ok.
Das TV Geräte scheinen nicht mit dem WLAN verbunden, so dass streaming nicht möglich war.
Die Betten waren mir persönlich zu weich, aber das ist Geschmackssache.

De var så smart inrett i rummet. Underbart att det fanns kylskåp, vatten kokare, te, choklad och mugg och glas.
Å att man blev bjuden på 1 flaska bubbelvatten

Vi var nöjda med både boendet och resan som helhet.
Pros:

Frukosten var bra. Närheten till Norrlandsoperan var avgörande för oss.

Bra boende då man är på snabbesök i Umeå
Pros:

Det bästa med Aveny är att det är ett prisvärt boende, rent, har sköna sängar och en god frukost.

Cons:

Det är ofta stökigt på gatan utanför, så man kan inte ha fönstret öppet på natten.

Pros:

Clean and comfortable room. Good location near town center and riverfront.

Cons:

Bathroom sink was backing up as soon as water started running. Reported it to management.

Bed way too soft.

As with most hotels that I've stayed at on this long travel trip, little to no hooks for hanging things.
