Slecht hotel en veel te duur!

Bed was uit 1800, matras ingezakt, geen airco dus heel warm op de kamer. Balkondeur moest open in de avond om af te koelen maar de hele avond en nacht treinen die keihard toeteren heel dichtbij en geen ontbijt mogelijk.

lovely views and location but can do much better
Pros:

ok, we stayed 4 n ights and had a riverview room. location was awesome. close to everything and views from the balcony were excellent. shower ok and beds ok.

Cons:

wifi was awful. which also meant no T.V. Booking in was appalling.Staff incompetent or inexperienced. Its very rundown , threadbear carpets, with holes in someplaces. balcony door was only lockable by placing a metal rod against the sliding door(provided by the hotel). The hotel has been let to rundown. Its a "budget" hotel at $650 a night?

Good location

Cons:

Very expensive. Dearest hotel that we have stayed in. Smallest bedroom, smallest beds and smallest bathroom. No air on and no breakfast. The location was the only reason we stayed there.

Zentrales ruhiges Hotel
Pros:

Die Lage vom Hotel ist super, direkt am Bow River und damit sehr ruhig. Fussläufig in 5 min in Banff Downtown und direkt am Bow River Trail. Parkplatz direkt am Haus. Angenehm war der kleine Balkon

Cons:

Die Zimmer sind schon sehr in die Jahre gekommen und das gesamte Hotel benötigt dringend ein Update.

Loved Banff. Canada Day was outstanding and loved the Banff Trail riders

Pros:

We had the river view and it was lovely. Decor looked a bit old but beds were very comfy, everything clean too. No AC but the fan that was in the room worked fine for us. Complimentary tea/coffee by the lobby was nice. Location is great too, right at the start of the main street

Cons:

Parking was a bit tough - there were always bit RVs or shuttle buses parked by the entrances so it was a tight squeeze to get in everytime. Other than that though, good experience!

We would definitely stay here again. The staff and location were key.
Pros:

The staff was very helpful and helped us to navigate Banff and the lake visits. The location is perfect. You could walk everywhere restaurants shopping, and the hotel next-door has a happy hour.

Cons:

There was construction across the street, but the guys tried to keep it down in the early morning and after five. They were working so hard my husband brought them some beer and it was fine. The hotel does not have air-conditioning, but it is very cool at night and the fan was efficient. The place is a little dated, but one of the staff said they’re more about the environment and trying to stay sustainable.

Rooms are very dated. Public spaces are run down. Convenient parking is a little limited.
