The location and prices were the reason for booking this hotel. The hotel was clean, comfortable and well appointed.
There was a lot of construction work taking place just outside the hotel, which was totally beyond the control of the hotel. The hotel did send me an email a few weeks ahead of time to warn me of the construction which I appreciated. Another thing beyond the control of the hotel but to keep in mind, is trains that go through Banff several times during the night blowing their horns.

The location was fantastic, really local to the town.
The staff are great, there was a gas leak on the morning of checkout in the other hotel and they handled it really well and were really helpful.
A lot of the facilities are in Banff Park Lodge, including the parking which can get quite full.
The property is all quite tired and could just do with a really good deep clean and update but I suppose that’s why it’s significantly cheaper
It was in a great location. Very friendly staff. & room clean. The staff were as helpful as they could be during the unfortunate gas leak from roadworks which caused an evacuation for several hours.
Property is tired & in need of upgrading. No breakfast or laundry facilities which meant you had to walk to neighbouring hotel.
Amazing location. The room was spacious and the bed was comfortable.
The interior is certainly dated, and the Wi-Fi was very poor.
It was a perfect location for downtown Banff. Being able to park was a bonus. On the morning of check out there was a gas leak in the vicinity and we had to immediately vacate our room. This was set to last for several hours ( which it actually did) and the hotel staff were so helpful in retrieving our things and enabling us to travel on that day. We are visiting from UK so several hours stuck outside the hotel would have not been great. Full marks to the staff
