Pros:

It’s a lovely old hotel with lots of charm. The spa facilities are also great, although there seemed to be limited staff available when we visited, limiting our treatment options. The hotel staff ranged from lovely to somewhat rude. Food was much too expensive.

Amazing breakfast. Great park near property. Friendly staff. It was a very relaxing stay. The pool and saunas were also excellent. They have a spa there that i didn’t use and a salt cave.

Very nice hotel, good for family
Pros:

We felt really well in the hotel. Very spacious, all comfort, great pool. The buffet was good - I felt personally a bit overpriced.
The hotel made a effort to give a discount for the kids, but there was no kids menu or price listed on the menu.

This hotel is outdated and very overpriced. The pictures are nothing like real life and the spa is old, dirty and you are not allowed to use half the facilities that are listed.
We paid double the price due to there being a film festival on which we were not attending.

Das Savoy Westend ist toll gelegen auf dem wunderschönen Villen-Hügel oberhalb der Stadt. Durch seien Ansammlung mehrerer Villen ist es ggü. anderen modernen Hotels völlig anders und in Alleinstellung. Besonders hervorzuheben ist die Freundlichkeit des Personals, die Sauberkeit und auch das tolle Frühstücksbuffet. Einzig zu kritisieren wäre das Zimmer, das für ein 5-Sterne-Hoteleinfach viel zu klein war.

Beautiful and charming place
Pros:

Beautiful place with very friendly staff. Despite language barriers, their smiles made us feel so welcome and comfortable. We had a lovely time and I would recommend staying here. A good walk into town but great to be in such a quiet and peaceful area.

Ganz ehrlich: Karlovy VARY ist eine sehr schöne Stadt und das Hotel ist ebenfalls sehr sehr schön! 5 tolle Villen in einer sehr schönen Gegend! Es gibt eine tolle Dachterasse mit Blick auf die russisch-orthodoxe Kirche! …..und das war‘s auch schon! Die Dachterasse konnten wir leider nicht nutzen trotz herrlichem Wetter weil der Gast in diesem Hotel leider nicht König ist! Man kommt dem Gast wenig entgegen, meine Freundin konnte die Luft im riesigen Hallenbad leider nicht vertragen aber eine Sitz- oder Liegemöglichkeit draußen gab es halt nicht - und es hat trotz Nachfrage auch niemanden gekümmert. Der Innenpool hat den Flair einer öffentlichen Badeanstalt! Der Saunabereich hat leider noch weniger Flair. Neonlicht, kein Duft, nichts gemütliches- da möchte man nicht liegen!! 5 Sterne luxury Spa - das stelle ich mir weiß Gott anders vor und habe ich schon viel viel besser erlebt! Sehr sehr schade!! 25 Euro Parkgebühr/Nacht ist völlig überteuert und sollte zudem Bestandteil einer Hotelübernachtung sein - es gibt leider keine Alternative in der Nähe - sind also eigentlich versteckte Kosten zum Zimmerpreis! Das Frühstück ist toll aber sorry 30 Euro fürs Frühstück (25,- zusätzliche Servicegebühr) auch das ist überteuert aber es gibt kaum Alternativen, zumindest nicht wenn man mehr auf Müsli Obst steht. Wie gesagt sehr sehr schade! Deutsche Gäste können so leider nicht gewonnen werden.
