Completely disappointed in booking.com. I booked a 2 queen bed room. I received a one king bed room. Traveling with a friend and did not wish to sleep with her. The staff tried to everything to accommodate us but they were sold out. They blamed booking.com. I will never use booking.com again!

Good Effort, but Definitely a 3-Star Experience
Pros:

The room was a good size, very clean, and housekeeping did an excellent job every day. The bar staff were wonderful — friendly, professional, and genuinely welcoming — and the food served there was tasty and well-presented. These touches made the stay more enjoyable.

Overall, a decent stay with some great highlights, but also a few areas that could use improvement.

Cons:

However, the overall experience felt closer to a 3-star standard. The reception staff were rather unfriendly, breakfast and coffee were quite basic (typical American style), and the air conditioning was loud and it was impossible to regulate the temperature except turning it on and off, which made it hard to sleep. While the essentials were fine, the service and amenities could be improved to match higher expectations.

Overpriced. Hotel was loud, not that nice. Couldn't walk to any restaurants. Website said breakfast was free, and we get there and it's $15. I'll eat elsewhere thank you. Go to use the hot tub, and it's ice cold. I learn later that the heater for the hot tub doesn't work. Would've been nice to know that beforehand. Poor value. Will stay elsewhere next time I'm in Phoenix.

This was my first time staying at this Holiday Inn Hotel & Suites. First of all, they need a technician to check the doorknobs, we had a very hard time opening the door. And also had a very hard time with the television. There was no water to make coffee, what is the use on having coffee maker?

Stayed just one night. I would say the hotel is average and what you might expect from this brand. Bed was too soft and the AC blew right on it which didn’t make for the most comfortable night.
