We had stayed at The Kingsmills over 40 years ago and it still retains that character and charm we recalled. The food was delicious and the staff very courteous and friendly. Thank you
Menu was pretty good, most staff were friendly. Hard to think of anything else poitive to say about this hotel.
So disappointed. We stayed in 3 hotels on our trip, this was the most expensive by a huge margin and the most disappointing. Room facilities were on a par with a motorway motel. The so called 'private patio' was simply a section of a long patio spanning the length of the building and shared with other rooms - separated only by a short, low planter, and facing the rooms opposite. Hotel was packed and incredibly nosiy, long wait for meals, wines overpriced and not good value. Would never consider returning here. All in all, over £1,000 for 2 disappointing nights .
Stort, flott rom. Gode senger. Stilt og rolig.
An extremely comfortable and friendly hotel, the room had the most enormous bed which was super comfy. The staff were lovely and the hotel is dog friendly to a point.
Whilst advertised as dog friendly, dogs are not allowed in the public rooms, with the exception of the Lobby. If you wanted to eat they would set up a table in the lobby, but not in the restaurant or bar. So not quite so dog friendly. This was in case any guest had allergies, though that would still be an issue in the lobby?
Sehr schönes großes Zimmer.
Freundliches Personal.
Very comfortable, staff were excellent helpful and friendly.
Spacious, clean and comfortable
Tutto
Niente
God plads på værelserne
trist brød til morgenmad, virkelig kedelig pålæg
Not much. Spacious room
Dirty and noisy (swim training going on!!) just a grubby feel about the whole spa area. Thought I was coming to somewhere special going by the prices they charged😳
Very clean, new design all looks and feels new. A lot of parking
The hotel was full and breakfast room too small for all so was a bit chaotic.
Breakfast and bed were both excellent but the ventilation noise in the room prevented one from getting to sleep. The room was also located immediately above the bin store and noise in the morning was considerable.
Room location was immediately above bin store and ventilation noise all night and bin noise removal in morning was considerable .
Zwembad. Grote kamer.

Lovely spacious bedroom with the most comfortable bed. We arrived later than expected but were able to have a light meal in the bar. Perfect.
Only negative point, non slip mat in the shower please.
Breakfast was good and beds very comfortable slept great.
Asked for sandwhiches in room was nice but empty salt and pepper containers.carpet was dirty at door all black heavy marks.
Very high standard of accommodation. Great staff, big smiles and attentive with relaxed banter. Food was amazing. We had dinner and a lunch and both were very good. Special mention to Lee who was so lovely, helpful and funny.
nice room and very good breakfast. the pool is excellent all equipped with sauna and steam room (special shoutout to the super helpful reception guy at the pool-health centre). we liked the property- it has a very long history. The Inverness town centre is 7-10 minute drive or about 20-25 min walk.
