Comfortable hotel if you want to relax amd avoid the busy City
Pros:

We got upgraded to a lovely garden room which was amazing as we stayed with our dog.Ned is super comfy, bathroom is very spacious. Food was 5*, dinner has a great choice even for gluten and dairy free diet. At breakfast they have a gf corner which I really liked. Free ample parking, lovely ground around the hotel, staff was very friendly.

Cons:

We had to wait for 20 min to get our drinks at the dinner table and another 20 min to get the food even though we have ordered everyhting in the same time. It was quite busy and they clearly did not have enough waiting staff on.
Sauna & Steam room could have been warmer.
In the garden rooms there is no window to open in the morning, only the door.

Pros:

Staff was very friendly and the pool and sauna where clean and easy to access. The bar/restaurant area was lively and the food was good.

Cons:

The service in the bar could have been a bit quicker. Lot of friendly staff walking around but they don`t come over to ask you what you want to drink.

Friendly staff, limited parking when events are on and very noisy room.

Room was lovely

Cons:

No parking space left , so we had to park in front of the hotel and wait till after 11 to find a parking space. Room 608 was very noisy no idea what it was but from 2 - 6 am constant clicking cracking coming from outside the room door in the hall/ lobby. My husband wears ear plugs and he still could not sleep.

Fantastic 2 day stay in a superb hotel with friendly staff
Pros:

We stayed in a lovely suite. Meals were fab and the staff were friendly and helpful. Couldn’t fault our stay. We were even welcomed with a dram of whisky when we checked in - a really lovely touch.
