Pros:

Breakfast was good, but you cannot get a latte from the breakfast coffee machine. Need to order that from cafe. Lamb dinner was delicious

Cons:

air con was very inconsistent. Gym needs a massive upgrade. Getting room service took me 3 tries and it still never came. Ended up having to go downstairs, order in person and then go back to my room

Pretty average and not value for money.
Pros:

Central location. I was supporting my daughter who was having surgery nearby. They are Gold members and stay with the chain frequently for other travel. I had dinner with my family in the restaurant and even though it was very busy the meal and service was excellent. The restaurant manager was very pleasant and genuine and clearly new my family and their children very well. He was definitely was the highlight of my stay

Cons:

Very little information provided with the booking. I have not stayed in a hotel for some years. There was no information about parking and I struggled with small print even for check in and check out times. I did not feel that the hotel provided value for money. My experience at reception could have been better. Although I had booked and paid and done the online check in the young lady still had to go and check something with her manager without explaining why. When she came back she asked for my credit so she could put a hold on it in case of damage to the room. I feel that non members certainly are at a disadvantage. I would maybe not stay again even though it is likely I will need to travel there a few times over the next 12 months or so.
