Pros:

Good location clean and tidy friendly staff.
The breakfast was good.

Cons:

The dinner we had the first night was very disappointing not worth the amount of money we paid had the steak meal and pork belly meal.
Won't be having dinner there again. Will go out for dinner.

Overall the stay was perfect apart from the buffet dinner

Cons:

The only thing that let them down and it was a disaster. The buffet dinner at night at $70 a head was nothing less than very poor, Starting from the soup to the main meal, everything we looked at in the hot food mainly the meats were stewing in a cooker with the gas rings off. 100 per cent of the food was cold and unacceptable. We complained about it and they agreed, we got a complete refund and they did offer a free bar meal so we had a dessert. If they need at looking how to prepare a buffet look no further than the Devon Motor Lodge in New Plymouth.
