Good hotel, shame about the dinner menu
Pros:

Excellent breakfast, great selection of items

Cons:

For dinner I ordered lamb biryani, in every other restaurant I have eaten at, a biryani automatically comes with a vegetable curry. It should be stated on the menu that you have to order the vegetable curry separately.

Pros:

Staff were friendly

Cons:

Room was dirty and had crumbs and food stains on the desk, shower was cold unless turned right up hot and then there was only a dribble of water. Breakfast was ok but cold and considering I was first one down this was disappointing.

Honest opinion.
Pros:

Clean, quiet comfortablr room. Young man on receptio Saturday evening February 28 and Sunday morning March 1 was extremely courteous and helpful. Restaurant service was poor except gor a ypung girl on Tiesday evening March 3 and Wednesday morning March 4. She was very caring and did her utmost to get me what I needed. The bar tender gave me beer when I askked for cider. The menu sais apple crumble and custard when it was some kind of apple dumpling.

Cons:

See above.

Faulty towers
Pros:

The bedding and towels were of a good standard
The manager wrote welcoming messages and even hoped I enjoyed the complimentary breakfast which I was charged £12.50 for?

Cons:

The hotel only cleans/tidies the room every 3/4 days, this is very new to me, having stayed in hotels around the world, never have I been told the room will not be made up unless you pay an additional £25
When we were provided with clean towels one had a piece of dried human faeces attached to it, although they changed the towel, there was no concern by the staff about this outrage.
The shower had hardly any water flowing from it and the chest of draws only had one draw, the other was a broken piece of wood
