Pros:

Dit was het 3de jaar dat we voor een lang weekend in het Hamlet verbleven. De kamer was wat aan de kleine kant met een erg krakend bed. Het was erg warm en we konden de verwarming zelf niet uit zetten. Maar het super vriendelijk en zeer behulpzaam personeel heeft dit verholpen. Ook de verbouwde eetzaal waar 's morgens een uitgebreid full English breakfast werd geserveerd en waar je 's avonds al la card kon dineren zagen er super netjes uit. Het eten was erg lekker en verzorgd. Het personeel deed er ook echt alles aan om je verblijf zo aangenaam mogelijk te maken. Het volgende jaar komen we ook weer terug, sterker nog, 2 vrienden enthousiast gemaakt om daar volgend jaar ook te boeken.

Cons:

Het e.e.a. in het hotel boven verdient de nodige aandacht ivm achterstallig onderhoud, maar ze zijn goed op weg en we zien het ieder jaar beter worden.

We left a day early as the accommodation was so poor.
Pros:

Location suited where we needed to be.

Cons:

Room was of exceptionally poor standard, curtains were ripped, carpet was threadbare, shower was unusable.
No seating in the room, 1 pillow each completely flat.
No power outlets near the bed, nor near a mirror.

Pros:

We stayed here for a wedding on the estate on the other side of the road so it was in a perfect location. Was good enough considering the price, certainly better than what we saw in the area.
The restaurant has good food, the breakfast - while not having a lot of choice - was of good quality. Would stay again if in the area.

Cons:

As guests you are entitled to 20% off of the restaurant bill. Make sure to check your bill as the staff "forgot" to apply it to our bill and were unable to refund.

Well located and good value, but basic rooms and outdated bathroom.
Pros:

Free parking, pleasant reception staff.

Cons:

Breakfast not served early enough (even if continental or some coffee and pastries), room very basic and tired. No idea how you could describe it as Superior...I would hate to see the basic ones! Shower poor, heating unresponsive, cold water sink tap faulty.

Found the staff on duty when booking in really helpful and friendly
Cons:

The room looked a bit tired, think the cleaning could be better, stains on walls, the mirror was dirty and the caddy for tea/coffee had clumps of dust inside.

Pros:

Great breakfast, room doors banging shut all night, closers too fierce. Light on the two flight stair not working and no warning of stairs as you turn the corner to room 105, I was looking at the sign for my room and fell down the two stairs. I didn't complain as I didn't hurt myself.
