Rocco Forte Astoria Hotel

A historical and very prestigious 5 star hotel located in city centre and within walking distance to main city's attractions such as St Isaak's Cathedral Hermitage, Mariinsky, Yusupov pacace, Nevsky prospect,Naval Museum, etc. Staff at consiergde desk has been very helpfull and always ready to assist regardless of the time. Taxi service has been excellent as well. Room has always been kept very clean and with respect to covid rules, protocoles and procedures. Staff discreet and helpfull. Hotel's pastry is definately recomented. Will be again my choice to stay next time.

Lovely ,understated ,stylish hotel with interesting decor and very attentive staff.Nothing was too much trouble and always with a smile.The breakfast was a little too big but very good. Dinner was excellent but the desserts were a disappointment...... We had better ones at ordinary restaurants in St Petersberg.Shame as we had expected them to be the best!

The hotel is absolutely gorgeous. Has a lovely feeling about it . Nice warmth , friendly service , really well designed room which feels like a home away from home . Spacious and very modern

Perfect in every way. My teenage daughter and I spent four amazing days in St Petersburg and Astoria deserves at least half of the credit for the great stay! We got a free upgrade to a suite with the most incredible view of the St Isaac Cathedral. Super comfy beds, unlimited nespresso coffee and bottled water in the room, nice spa and gym (the sauna and steam room are HOT -- this comes in useful when it's cold outside!). The afternoon tea in the beautiful hotel lobby with a big assortment of blini, pirozhki, desserts was delicious, in a five star setting. I must give huge thanks to the hotel staff. I travel about 10-15 times a year, domestically and internationally, but I must admit the level of service at Astoria is next level. Everyone genuinely cared that we were happy with the stay. Finally, I forgot our passports in the room safe (got too relaxed!..). The hotel called me on my US number, just in time, for us to come back and not miss the train to Moscow. So very thankful to the personnel for this!!

Words are not enough to express our fantastic stay at the hotel.Location was lovely ,walking distance to the State Heritage Museum and many other monuments.The concierge was so helpful,better than any travel sites.The hotel arranged a private chauffeur driven guided tour of the Peterhof.Excellent guide/driver .
The rooms are spacious and the sitting room was very well appointed ,comfortable beds and bathrooms had the most amazing toiletries.Our bedroom overlooked the Issac Church and was an amazing view.The bar ,lobby and the lovely paintings around the hotel gave it a very majestic ,regal look.
I was a bit unwell on checking out but the hotel was very helpful and gave back our room for half the day (half charge)
Overall made our holiday extra special.

Overall everything is delivered to perfection. There is great attention to details to make customers satisfied. This is a reflection of excellent management

Beautiful hotel, fantastically located, pristinely clean, excellent and profesional service, graceful and knowledgeable staff with charm at every corner.

I stayed for 5nights and only the first night air condition was working. Also my kids had mosquito bites on their arms and feet.
This hotel certainly doesnot meet the requirements of a true 5 star hotel.

I’ve travelled the world, stayed in the best hotels. There isn’t anything you should change or improve. You are absolutely the best! Thank you for the wonderful experience. Hope to come back very soon.

Spent three nights at the Astoria Hotel. Rooms were spacious, clean, great views, quiet with all amenities. Service was first rate - hotel staff was very helpful and always availabe to cater to needs. Location can’t be beat - next to St. Isaac’s and quick walk to many great restaurants. Highly recommend this hotel and will be going back

The hotel still provides service that many western hotels have quit offering which makes this hotel a great place to stay. Add the great friendly and attentive staff to the mix and you have an awesome place to stay

we stayed for 4 nights. The staff were so helpful and our room was very spacious. Very central and easy to get to everything.

Great location near Hermitage, Nevskii Prospect, etc. Wonderful staff who were extremely helpful, interested in our plans and spoke great English..
The concierges are knowledgeable regarding restaurants and getting tickets to sites in advance to avoid lines.
The facilities are very beautiful. Highly recommend.

Amazing and very friendly staff with a very nice location

Had booked a different hotel through Expedia for our stay during the World Cup, and that hotel ended up cancelling our reservation 1 month before our visit. I then found this property available for our dates, but a few hundred dollars more expensive. Both my wife and I were extremely pleased with the location and the quality of the hotel. I fully recommend this property to anyone visiting St. Petersburg, looking for excellent location, nice hotel, and great service. Would stay there again in a heart beat.
