Unbelievably beautiful oasis in Sacred Valley.
Pros:

Truly a spectacular hotel. It could have been in southern France or Spain. The grounds and la scaling are like a dream. We spent hours sitting outside enjoying the flowers, fountains and Andes mountains. The rooms are clean, comfortable and very very nice.

There is no harder working and kind bellman on planet earth than Flavio. Alonso at the front desk was warm and accommodating.

If this hotel is on your tour schedule or you have a chance to stay here - absolutely do it.

A gem of a find in the Sacred Valley in Peru
Pros:

What a find…after a long day of travelling we were warmly welcomed by concierge and then seamlessly checked in by Lucero.
To our surprise the Sonesta has three places to eat…a cafe, restaurant and pizzeria all open to 10pm (we arrived on a Sunday). We chose the La Dispensa Pizza and Pasta which has a lovely authentic atmosphere. The Pizza La Dispensa was delish. Even my husband who doesn’t like pizza much was the first to say how delicious it was with fresh ingredients and crispy and light base. This was complemented with one of the best salads we have ever had….Salada de Dispensa. It was a new combination of ingredients and the elderberry vinaigrette was amazing! Compliments to Chef Uriel. This whole experience was topped off by friendly and attentive service my Marian.

Very Nice Property
Pros:

My wife and I stayed at the Sonesta Posada one night prior to a Machu Pichu excursion. Everything was ideal - the room was comfortable and clean, the staff was friendly and helpful, and the grounds were beautiful. The hotel permits local merchants to sell their goods in the courtyard, and we enjoyed browsing the crafts and souvenirs. We had dinner (pizza) and breakfast at the hotel, and both meals were good.

Secluded, peaceful stay
Pros:

This was the most scenic and beautiful hotel we stayed in our entire Peru trip. We could see the mountains from our balcony. Secluded hotel. Perfect for a quiet getaway. We stayed here for one night. The room was huge and beds very comfortable. The breakfast had a wide variety and the staff helped us get some vegetarian options from the kitchen made for us. The restaurant and cafe onsite had good options. Some things to note which doesn’t take away any stars from the review but good to be aware of. There is no other entertainment on the property to keep kid busy. The wood flooring was creaking a lot in our room. Maybe needs some attention. Overall we loved our stay here and it was a wonderful property.

Beautiful hotel in a sleepy town
Pros:

Our group tour stayed here a couple nights here as our base for going to the highlands and also to Machu Picchu. This hotel is beautifully situated in this town and views of the surrounding mountains are beautiful. The service was excellent and the room big and comfy. They had a space heater as it can get chilly at night but all you need is the extra blanket in the closet. Really felt like a nice hacienda feel. Very nice lobby and bar area to relax and mint tea available to sip on

Almost perfect
Pros:

We stayed in #409. Unfortunately, we didn't arrive until 1900 hrs & left at 0645 hrs.

We really enjoyed everything we experienced except: 1) floors in room were noisy to walk on. It woke my wife up when I went to the bathroom, probably more annoying to adjacent rooms; 2) the barn door sliding to the bathroom had no pull inside, and jammed open with about 2"-3" left open; 3) the t.p. holder was behind & to the left, meaning I had to remove it & leave it where I could reach it when needed.

Minor inconveniences, easily fixed if they read this.

Otherwise, it is a really nice location, really large rooms and breakfast had much better tasting fruit than we got today in Aguas Calientes.
