Would come back with family as a base to discover Tuscany. Great!
Pros:

Great for a romantic stay and easy visit to San Gimignano! Less than 10 mins walking from the city gate, very quite, amazing breakfast, atmosphere and a pleasant pool.

Cons:

Maybe a bed was a bit harder for our standards, but we slept okay.

this is the place to stay when its hot and you would like a pool to hang out at between city tours.
Pros:

Location was great, easy to find and park and walk up safely 13 minutes to San Gimignano. super breakfast , great pool (not heated) . friendly atmosphere . rooms just slightly dated but clean and large

Cons:

food in evening is not great. we were rushed on last night and wanted a quick bite only , ceasar salad with chicken was ok but avoid everything else. breakfast though was super!!!!

Pros:

Good position easy walking distance San Gimignano. Hotel communal areas were very good.
Breakfast was excellent with lots of options.

Cons:

The economy rooms are quite small.

Charming building, not charming people sadly.
Pros:

The hotel was clean and lovely charm.

Cons:

Sadly there was no staff that were willing to help. We had a terrible room with no view (and this was an expensive rate we paid). We tried to eat a snack in area with tables that was empty at the time (not an official restaurant) but we were told to eat in our room. It was pouring rain outside. The hospitality was just so poor. We were not asked if we enjoyed our stay when we checked out so I did not bother mentioning it to the staff since they clearly did not care. Sadly would not recommend just based on the hospitality.
