The hotel was clean but very dated. Hotel lobby was pretty much non existing. A tv on wheels like you use to see in Primary School. Small round tables with thee most uncomfortable chairs. Rooms were small but again I cannot fault the cleanliness. We didn't even shape at taking breakfast so I cannot comment on that.
Location was good. About a 20-30 minute walk to Wenceslas Square.
4 star hotels in Prague must have a different rating than the 4 stars at home.
A great experience and our stay with the hotel was hassle free and seamless.
breakfast originally on roof top terrace with views of the city. When arrived got told they’re doing renovations so breakfast was in the basement. We were not informed prior our stay only when we arrived and then had to choose when to go down for food due to limited seating, went down within time frame we put down for and there wasn’t enough tables for everyone. Food was rubbish, stale and cold not enough variety - we only went down for breakfast once and didn’t bother for the rest of our stay.
The bedrooms was clean, tidy and roomy. They advertised a bath but we had a fixed shower that we couldn’t adjust. I Advise to bring ear plugs for the night time as you can hear the trams go by throughout the night.
we got stuck in the lift - the staff fixed the issue promptly we was stuck for 40 minutes. They never asked if we were alright, no apologies nothing - hour or so later pass after and we ask if the lift if safe to use. - the lady behind the reception said it was electrical issue then shortly after blamed the “unbalanced of weight” and how we was stood?!!! Bearing in mind the lift holds up to 800kg! We completely understand stuff can happen but was appalled by the receptionist response. Later on that day after coming back from site seeing the second lift was broken. We didn’t use any of the lifts for the remaining of our stay. (Be in mind their are 5 floors)
This was our first time in prague and it certainly lived up to our expectations. The location of hotel was amazing, easy walking distance to all the main attractions, only a stones throw from tram .Our room was lovely, and very clean. The hotel staff couldn't of been kinder especially Tom and the blonde lady ( sorry cant remember your name ) They were extremely helpful and gave good advise and recommendations. We would definitely stay there again and would highly recommend it to family and friends. Thank you for an amazing time.
We loved this hotel. Huge room with a comfortable bed, modern bathroom with plenty of towels.Tea/coffee facilities. Room cleaned daily by the friendly maids,we left them a nice tip. Breakfast was nice.
The hotel is also perfect to walk everywhere which we did, I also enjoyed a morning run.
Loved it so much we are coming back next year.
The hotel is in a great area with lots of delicious food and drink close by to experience a more local feel. It’s only 15-20 minutes walk to old town or a short tram ride.
The rooms are old (at least in the part we stayed & I couldn’t work out the new part) but spotlessly clean.
We had to cool the room but that’s personal preference but had a comfy bed and amazing shower. I’d suggest a kettle rather than a coffee machine, it was a real pain for a cup of tea.
Breakfast was in a more modern part of the building on the 5th floor and was sufficient. Staff are neither warm nor rude and do an efficient job.
I would like to thank all staff in this hotel for their kindness and pleasant manner, the hotel is spotless as this was our second visit in three years the standards have kept up.the location is good within mins you have a few cafe/bars quite reasonably priced, but we did not quite a big increase in prices when it came to eating out.Johnnys pizza take away is close and the pizzas are really good, the only disappointment was the sit in was closed for refurbishment,we used it quite often 3 years ago.the trams are closeby and about 10 min walk to the metro, you have 2 stations. If you visit the church where the paratroopers died,I would suggest you visit the town of Lidice that the Germans destroyed and killed all males over the age of 14 and sent the woman and children to concentration camps, the memorial is so beautiful and serene.and when you have finished there if you walk right up the road where the bus stop you got off at you will find a lovely czech pub.also you will be able to get the bus back from there. It is easy to get there the bus station Nadrazi Velesten where you get the airport bus,the bus 300 will take you to Lidice in about 20 mins, this bus is outside the prague local bus ticket but it is still cheap to go,from the airport to the city centre and a good circumference over 65 from anywhere travel free, and 50% discount between the age of 60/65.You will need good walking shoes even though we used the transport everyday we still walked over 105,000 steps in 6 days.finally I would recommend the Galileo for my friends or any further visits,in personal note I am not sure when I will be back again as this was my 12th visit to Prague in 25 years ,we had three rooms 302 304 and I think 105 room 304 was a bit on the small side, that was the only thing that bothered us,but at the end of the day you are only sleeping there.knd Regards pat, david, tom, martin, and Geraldine from Glasgow
Breakfast is great! The room clean and big! We loved it!
Very nice location close to public transportation. Great breakfast. Helpful staff. Had a wonderful 5 day stay. Will return again.
Clean rooms, quiet hotel, good continental breakfast.
Continental breakfast was great
Good location (fairly peaceful but close enough to main touristy places)
Comfy beds
For us the hotel was ideally situated for local bars & 2 mins walk to the nearest tram stop for No 6 which takes you short walk to the town centre. The hotel was very clean staff were very pleasant and very helpful too, excellent value for money and the rooms were huge. We also did the WWII tour which was very good and educational the guide was superb.
Hotel was nice reception staff very friendly and helpful breakfast need some more variety on reception Mr Tom is great man very happy and helpful i was talking to him for long time he is very friendly, shops and restaurants tram station in the street round the corner great
Very big room & spacious… including free 1 sparkling wine. Breakfast was good & easy to locate. Very nice front desk full of attention & details when stay. Great location from attractions area. Close to train station. Can easy bolt from train and airport very easily. I’m super happy with this hotel the most out of all the hotels I booked during my Sept Europe trip. Totally recommend to traveler even though it’s expensive.
Big room. Our room is a corner room, and it has 6 windows! Bit bathroom with full amenities including a bidet. Clean room and bathroom.
Very good breakfast. Nice, polite staff.
Very good location with public transportation close by.
Overall impression: an excellent hotel for an affordable price.
The elevator was the only thing we had problems with! It was so tiny and you needed to go over several steps to get to it! So if you are traveling with a bunch of luggage and a stroller, be prepared!
I stayed at three hotels in Czechia though and this had hands down the best breakfast!! Everything was delicious and fresh, the staff was kind, and the rooms were very clean and comfortable!!
This hotel was very nice. The bed was comfortable, the shower worked great, and the room had a hot water kettle and a mini-fridge. Breakfast was excellent.
