La habitación ubicada en la parte nueva o remodelada del hotel no me gustó. Los closets me parecieron bastante ordinarios lo mismo que el estado de las cortinas que difícilmente se podían correr. El desayuno buffet el domingo parecía una plaza de mercado. Las mesas todas llenas y difícilmente pude encontrar un sitio donde sentarme. Por esa razón únicamente desayuné ese día en el hotel a pesar de tener el desayuno incluido para el resto de la estadía.

Cancelaron mi reserva para una boda y solo les interesaba cobrar más dinero

Hicimos la reserva desde abril para asistir a una boda que se celebrará en el hotel. Sin embargo, me cancelaron por correo electrónico a la 1:40, cuando yo ya estaba en pleno vuelo. Al llegar a Barranquilla, descubrí que ya no tenía reserva, generándome un enorme inconveniente.

La jefe de reservas fue grosera, intransigente y no ofreció ninguna solución. Después de insistir en que el problema era responsabilidad del hotel, me rebajaron un poco el precio, pero inicialmente pretendían cobrarme casi el doble. Esto deja la impresión de que la habitación sí estaba disponible y que el verdadero interés era cobrar mucho más, en lugar de respetar la reserva original.

Una experiencia indignante, con pésima atención y cero voluntad de solucionar el problema. Reservar con meses de anticipación debería dar tranquilidad, no terminar en esta situación. No recomiendo este hotel por el trato recibido y la gestión de su departamento de reservas.@hoteldanncarltonbaq
