The conference room was great.
My particular room view was not the best as it was in between the 'L' shaped hotel and could not see the ocean well. The elevators were a bit slow but otherwise good. Need to have a closer restroom near the conference room though.
G-man has been purposely silent banning this review because of how disastrous this stay was. This stay was setup through Monster Vacations and Spinnacker resorts.
Here is the short of a truly awful experience I had posted here originally.
Rooms are dirty, damaged, rusted, and infested.
The resort is 2-3 blocks from a tent city and the main room doors are difficult if not next to impossible to close due to rust. Slamming doors to get them properly shut was observed in our room and others on site. The outdoor hallways have very little lighting and it's hard to see anything.
The room had water damage, mold, and smelled like strong chemicals that made our family sick. The safe did not function at all.
There were weird brown and red stains all over our pillows and linens, both big and small.
Worst of all, the room was infested with roaches. They were climbing on a box that contained my KIDS TOY! I captured a German Cockroach in a cup (see pictures) and had the staff come verify the issue. My kid now calls them "dangerous ants"
We checked out and left immediately once my taxes were returned and the card hold lifted. Staff told me roaches were common this time of the year, yet would you believe not a single hotel/resort we stayed at besides this one had that problem?
Great staff as always facilities have improved over the last couple years and I understand it's very hard to maintain a building next to the beach
I think the elevators could use some maintenance
The balcony view, room size
No cooked breakfast eggs would have been nice. Elevators kept not working
Nothing
It was dirty, disgusting bedding, flooring was so nasty stained, pieces of odd scraps of carpet. Stove was rusted with foil, dirty, bathroom walls had some sort of soiled surface on the wall. Stains of something all over. Smelled like alcohol vomit. I had a full panic attack walking into the dirty facility.
Me and my daughter drove 17 hours to get there and then we had to switch to two different rooms because they were full of little cockroaches living in the air conditioning unit, and in the floor. I killed about 20+.when I told the staff they really didn’t care just said thanks for telling me. That was a nasty ass place. I’ve ever been in my life.

The breakfast was not great.
Breakfast could have had a couple more choices.
I love that it was close to the beach- they allowed us to check in a few hours early.
the room was not was pictured in the photos - I actually felt dirty going in- i sat on the bed and sunk on side and sprung on the other- the bath tub was rusty AF- id literally need a tetanus shot after showering - the pool was muggy- we checked in at 2pm - went to the beach and checked out by 5pm same day-
OVERALL WAS FINE. BATHROOM APPEARS TO HAVE HAD A BAD REMODEL ALMOST NO WATER PRESSURE. HOWEVER I WOULD STAY THERE AGAIN
NICER BATHROOM AND FREE BEER
view from balcony
appliances were rusted, bathroom patched and patched, water stain on wall at base, door locks/knobs stuck
Very friendly staff. Great location. Soft beds
I liked everything

Amazing staff and unbeatable location!! Everything we could want in a Daytona hotel
Facilities are older but it adds to the vintage vibe. Everything worked perfectly and was exceptionally clean.
