We stayed for 1 night to celebrate our golden wedding anniversary and everything was spot on. Having told the front of house at Palm Court of our celebration he led us our table in front of the stage followed by 2 glasses of bubbly. We were entertained by a wonderful singer/pianist Huw Lloyd who made us feel like we were the only ones there making it very personal. A fantastic stay in a top quality hotel.
The food, comfortable bed, the staff.
The bathroom, broken floor tiles. Wonky loo roll, sink was in silly position.

We arrived on Thursday 28th booked dinner bed and breakfast .. we arrived and got to reception and was told by the girl at reception that our room had been upgraded.. which was a nice surprise.. the room was absolutely lovely.. we where right at the end of the hall so there was absolutely no noise coming past .. had food in nelsons bar absolutely delicious.. and the atmosphere in the bar was really friendly.. really great nights sleep.. breakfast in palm court was really tasty .. check out was really simple lovely friendly staff throughout the whole place .. looking forward to booking with them again .. only thing issue we did have was being told to vacate the pool spa / hot tub as there was a problem with the chemicals in it ..
Beautiful boutique hotel, amazing food at the Palm restaurant and perfect pool and spa area to relax.
Room was quite small and bed and pillows could do with a refresh.
The room was spacious and beautiful. The shower and bathroom was so roomy and the added toiletries were exceptional. Comfortable bed and decor was tasteful and warming.
Just a few small things like no milk left and no waters. Also no fridge in the room.

We chose to book dinner in the pub area. The food was poor - three out of four of us were unable to eat our meals. Food was very expensive and we were disappointed.
The swimming pool and sauna were lovely.

I had booked a spabreak for my Mum and me as a christmas present last year. On arrival we were greeted by Carol on reception who was welcoming, friendly, and couldnt do enough for us amazing service from start to finish. To our surprise our room was ready early which was amazing. We headed down to the spa where we were greeted again by a welcoming, friendly Megan and Lucy who booked us in and showed us around the spa making sure we had the best experience. Our Facial treatments were done by Chrisy and Danni who were very professional and made us feel relaxed and amazing afterwards. With our package a 2 course lunch was provided and we were welcomed and served be Abbey who really looked after us during our meal and even brought our breakfast the next morning. We have been really looked after by all the staff at the grovernor pulford hotel from start to finish, our room was fantastic everything you needed and comfortable beds for a good night's sleep. Thankyou to all staff involved that made our experience the most magical, I hope I've mentioned everyone and we look forward to coming back.
