Room was beautiful, clean, comfy bed and lovely dressing gown and slippers. Really peaceful and relaxing night. Dinner - we had carvery and was delicious- service was quite slow in the restaurant, but they were v busy. Breakfast tasty and set us up for the day. Glad we booked dinner, bed and breakfast package.
Overall fantastic stay, on check in our room wasn't ready despite requesting a time slot- but we went off to explore the hotel so not a major problem as left bags at reception.

Not enough spa facilities
The room was spacious, quiet and very comfortable. Breakfast, served in the Palm Court Restaurant was varied and plentiful. We preferred Palm Court for dinner over Nelson's Bar. All in all we consider the Grosvenor Pulford Hotel & Spa one of the best hotels we have stayed in, in the UK and will definitely return. The pool was also a good size and not overly crowded.
The beds were a little uncomfortable, (a little too soft for us!) and the next time we stay we will request a walk in shower, as opposed to a shower over the bath.

The gardens were gorgeous. Parking was plentiful. Check in was efficient, friendly and informative. The room was amazing; deep bath with plenty of hot water, bed super comfy, tea tray well stocked and I liked there was a fridge. Loved thoughtful touches like a light in the wardrobe, slippers, dressing gown and beautiful bath/body products. Opted for cooked breakfast in room which was delicious and promptly served. Used the large swimming pool, sauna and steam rooms and jacuzzi - a real plus these are included in the price. Had the Sunday cavery in Palm Court and was blown away by the choice, quality, service and value for money. The atmosphere was relaxing with a pianist playing in the background.
A minor point, but I had an internal room with the window looking into the Palm Court restaurant. This meant I needed to keep the curtains closed throughout. Not much of an issue for 1 night but probably a bit oppressive for a longer stay. That said, it didn't impact the quietness of the room.

Staff were excellent , helpful & polite . Breakfast was good . dinner in the Palm Court was superb , food was very good & delicious . Love the bedroom with king size bed , plenty of room , quiet & peaceful . swimming pool & sauna were great .

The resturant was amazing the food and staff were very attentive and professional
The bar tables very sticky and staff didnt seem to care tables were left dirty with glasses all over .A bar manage needs to ensure staff are constantly clearing tables and follow the staff in the resturant work ethic .
The room was first rate, evening meal at the Pal Court was excellent.
Staff at the Nelson's bar are miserable and rude. Only one member of staff on reception making checking in and out a delayed process.

Amazing food and clean modern bedroom
Loved everything
This was our second visit and we had a lovely time. The staff are friendly, the hotel is beautiful, the facilities are excellent and the food was absolutely superb. We were warned the room might be noisy when events were on but there was a wedding that night and we didn't hear a thing.
There were a couple of minor discomforts. Our room must have been above the kitchen as there was a strong smell of food preparation all night and into the morning. The bed was also quite uncomfortable, especially the pillows.
