The hotel lobby had an odor, the hotel wasn’t clean, it was old and needed a refresh. The morning breakfast environment was not clean either and the bagels were hard as rocks and unedible. The elevator was broke and the stairs weren’t clearly labeled to find easily. The lobby worker and breakfast staff were not friendly.

Das Frühstück war sehr sparsam und ohne gute Auswahl. Das Hotel reagiert nicht auf schriftliche Anfragen per Mail oder über die App. Laut Mitarbeiterin haben sie dazu gar keine Möglichkeit.

Unhappy with our stay due to roaches and other bugs and room issues
Pros:

We did not have breakfast and location was farther away from where we needed to go. It said 13 minutes but was really 26 minutes from the Ohio state stadium

Cons:

After checking in we immediately went to our room to shower and get ready for the event we were in town to attend. Not even a minute after entering the room my husband called me into the bathroom to shower me two roaches crawling on the floor behind the door. I immediately called the front desk and all they said was sorry, we will get you another room. Went to desk and all they did was hand me a new room key and acted like it was no big deal. Nothing was offered besides a new room key. We quickly got ready and headed to our event. At this time before leaving for our event the only thing noticed was that the toilet hardly flushed. The handle had to be held down two or theee times to work. After returning we turned the heat on because the temperature had dropped significantly. The heater had an awful smell while running so we had to turn it off. A little while later while watching tv we noticed a bug crawling on the wall above the tv. This one turns out not to be a roach but a stink bug. We decided since they didn’t really seem to care about the roach they weren’t going to care about any other issues. Instead of enjoying the stay we were a bit uncomfortable sleeping so left very early in the morning and made a 5 hour drive home an very little sleep. We will not be using best western for any more hotel stays.

Hotels should have comfortable places to sleep and rest your head, disappointmented.

It was clean and staff were pleasant.

Cons:

You get a hotel for sleep…the pillows feel like folded sheets in a pillowcase. I’ve been up since 3am because it’s SO uncomfortable.

Professional Managemnt- Would have been a great stay
Pros:

I like the size of the pool but it was closed shortly after we were swimming due to roofing issues when I stayed. I love that they were accommodating and willing to give me a partial refund since that’s the only reason I booked there. I was not my best self and was still met with kindness and compassion. Very professional team and management and I would absolutely stay again.
