Pros:

Tæt til toget. Personalet var generelt meget søde og venlige

Cons:

Vi havde bedt om tidlig indtjekning. De kunne ikke lade sig gøre. I anden omgang mødte vi en sur receptionist som heller ikke kunne give os 2 værelser på samme etage. Det ene værelse var med 3 trin end i værelset og uden brusebad. Det skriver Booking.com at der er og at værelserne er handicapvenligst. En anden sød receptionist rettede op på værelset og nu kunne det pludselig godt lade sig gøre at få 2 værelser tæt på hinanden. Jeg tænker at receptionisten som tjekkede os ind, burde overveje om hun skal være receptionist på et 5 stjernet hotel.

We do love this hotel
Pros:

Have stayed here many times over 10 years! The building is beautiful and location is fantastic. Great to see one familiar friendly face during our stay!

Cons:

In years gone by the hotel has always acknowledged my birthday and I have received a card, macaroons and even champagne but this year I was disappointed! Sadly, the changes and cut backs in recent visits and many changes of staff have been very noticeable. We did however get to stay in our favourite room!

Ok but would try something else next time

Location, charm,food

Cons:

Old building that needs repair ( our safe didn’t work, bad smell in bathroom all the time)
Battery in the blinds remote needed changing- that should be caught by housekeeping staff.
Bar soap and disposable wash cloth was not replaced after being used up.

Bel etablisement avec beaucoup de caractère, confortable
Pros:

Belle chambre spacieuse, donnant sur le canal
Très bon petit déjeuner

Cons:

Bruit de porte battante dans le couloir le matin qui s'entend dans la chambre
douchette mal fixée et entretenue

We loved the hotel. It reminded us of hotels of the past with excellent service and friendly helpful staff.
Pros:

The location was perfect. Very close to the train station and canal cruises, many restaurants within walking distance, quiet at night. The staff was amazing everyone friendly and helpful

Cons:

The room was a little dated but the view was perfect looking over the water and the train station. We did not mind that the room could use an update.

Great Stay in Amsterdam
Pros:

The hotel is conveniently close to the central station. They have a wonderful breakfast with many choices. The rooms are large, and our view was nice. The concierge services are top-notch. We felt safe walking to and from the city. The bar was fun.

Cons:

We stayed for a week and found that we had to request extra cleaning for our room. Sometimes the shower was only warm during the day or night. The taxi we requested for our flight back was very expensive, about twice what we paid to get there from the airport. We used Booking for our first taxi.
