Schickes Hotel. Die Einrichtung und der Zustand des Zimmers können mit dem Eindruck aus der pompösen Empfangshalle jedoch nicht mithalten. Etwas nervig war es, zwei verschiedene Aufzüge benutzen zu müssen, um in die Etage des Zimmers zu gelangen, obwohl es auch Treppen gegeben hätte, die allerdings durch eine versperrte Tür voneinander getrennt waren.

Staying at the Tai'an Dongzun Huada Hotel, I immediately felt that the years were a long way away. The room facilities and equipment are also quite outdated, but fortunately the service is very good. Zhang Qianwei, the assistant manager of the lobby, was very friendly and gave fruit as a gift when checking in.

Wonderful experience at this Hotel and it is at a very reasonable rate. The customer service personnel Ms. Ella Liu and the Concierge Manager Mr. Wang Lei are very patient in handling your questions and requests.
Ms Liu provided a rollaway bed and breakfast and recommended a restaurant nearby which is good, She even remembered to check out our room even though in our hurry to go Mt. Tai, after putting our bags with Mr. Wang, we forgot to check out with her. One of my lost leather gloves dropped at the front porch the night before was returned to me by the night staff.
Mr. Wang got our tickets for FengShan Ceremony, High Speed Rail booking from Qufu to Tianjin. We were also given an upgraded hotel transport to pick us up from the base of Mt. Tai after our climb with our checked out luggage in the car, tour Qufu the birth place of Confucius and straight to the HSR station onwards to Tianjin for RMB500. Various ways to go Mt. Tai is also being explained in details.
The room is good & clean but there is a gap when sliding the glass door of the bathroom and cannot be locked. Good breakfast buffet spread and there is a heated indoor swimming pool and a small zoo of pig, deer, ducks, chickens and peacocks. Pet friendly Hotel and is highly recommended.

The actual hotel is nice. Lovely location and great food from the reaonably priced restaurant. When checking out however, I was charged for the room from my deposit. I had already paid for the room online and even though I told them at reception they didn't listen. I have since called them twice and spoken to the company I booked with. Still no answer or refund.
Don't book before you go or you may have the same problem
As I am an 'old China hand' I am very familiar with, and fond, of Chinese food, therefore I really enjoyed the Chinese buffett offerings. The hotel's location is very convenient for people wishing to be a central location in the 'old' city with close proximity to Taishan and other scenic sites, also for government for those on official visits. The hotel is generally very clean and well maintained. The entire exterior structure was being repainted whole I was there. The staff are genuine and welcoming in all areas of guest contact. But foreign guests need to be relealistic about language ability of front line service staff. Duty Managers and most Reception staff English is very adequate. Chief Concerige has good English.
In my room at least, while it was very clean, some of the FF&E are probably from the hotel's inception 18 years ago. Thus even with the best of intentions, some features will need renovation, for example faucets, bed sets, lighting and TV systems.
The breakfast was complete and nice. It is of course outside the big cities, so it is more difficult to expect Western food. It was very busy, but in fact that is nice.
When we arrived at 10 Pm, the restaurant and the bar was closed at 9:30, we did not like that. Then you need to go to the room, it is not very nice.

If the common corridor walkway is smoke free will be good, cause can smell some one is smoking specially at the lift lobby.
