The whole Manor House is lovely and the grounds are outstanding
Pillows are a little bit too soft
We stayed here for one night while visiting friends for a birthday party.
From booking to leaving, the staff were amazing.
The room was basic but for the price we paid ,were extremely happy with it.
The next time we visit our friends, this will be our first port of call.
I might add, I do give honest reviews, if I dont like somthing I will definitely say.
So thanks for being so welcoming guys.
O breakfast was excellent.
Clean room with comfy bed; beautiful location; friendly staff.
I wasn't expecting to have to pay extra for hot chocolate and for a cooked breakfast when I had already pre-paid for breakfast. The pre-paid breakfast was ok but not that generous in terms of what was on offer, given the price paid.
The pillows were anti allergen
Attended a wedding here which was beautiful, fabulous venue. The whole day and night were fantastic and beautiful rooms, clean, warm and spacious
The hotel is a lovely building within very well maintained and interesting grounds. Whilst old, the niceness of the interior, including our room was maintained to a high standard. The staff were all polite and helpful. The food and service were great.
Room
Limited menu on Sunday e evening
Beautiful property lovely friendly staff so quiet in the grounds was perfect
I liked the peace and quiet. There is plenty of parking. The breakfast buffet has lots of choice. The breakfast staff are friendly and go out of their way to help.
I would prefer a walk-in shower. Even with a grab handle, it is awkward to climb into a bath to have a shower.
I would like to see more of the receptionist. When I arrived, I had to walk into an event room to find someone to check into the room. The person eventually arrived from Manager's room behind reception.
I reported a leaking tap on the morning of Day 2, and it was still leaking on Day 4 when I left.
I do not like to receive multiple messages about when I will arrive (let them know and still have no one on reception) and when I am planning on leaving. If the receptionist was there, it would be natural to let them know via discussion.
Very comfy beds, great shower and large fluffy towels
Breakfast excellent staff very professional
Shower was small
I cant believe the number of excellent reviews, where have these people stayed previously ?
Whilst the dining and reception areas are fine and the staff are exceptional , the bedrooms/bathrooms are in dire need of refurbishment with every room I have stayed in here over the past year or two has stained or worn carpets in the bedrooms and cracked ceramic tiles in the bathrooms with sanitaryware that whilst being clean has seen much better days ( have only stayed in the single/ cosy double/ double bedrooms ), which is why I had not stayed here for a few months until recently
In the past the breakfasts were excellent which coupled with the very reasonable room rates for such a fine manor house was the prime reason for revisiting however due to staff shortages ( Illneses and half term week I was told ) the only available breakfast was a buffet breakfast which frankly was not very good.
However I do have sympathy with the hotel owners that a bedroom/bathroom refurbishment would be very costly with little scope to recoup their outlay in this current economic climate, so ulitimately would probably be commercial suicide.
Therefore whilst the room rates are good value for money ( when not booking direct with the hotel ) I do feel future guests need to know what to expect from the bedrooms in this hotel .
Great food, fantastic location and lovely staff, could not fault anything. The atmosphere is lovely, and the attention to detail first class.
The old-school vibe with a modern twist.
There was no TV remote in my room, and there was some damage in the bathroom (as well as quite a lot of ladybugs) The room was either boiling (when the heating was on) or if you turned the radiator off, it made a very high pitched noise. I will say that I did not let any member of staff aware of these issues, as it was just somewhere for me to sleep, so I wasn’t there for much time throughout my trip.
Lovely place but needs a revamp room was a bit shabby bar wasn’t open so had to sit in reception bar wasn’t open
Need a revamp room shabby bar wasn’t open had to sit in reception
A wonderful building in peaceful grounds. Lovely open fire. Brilliant and fast breakfast served by lovely staff.
A low humming noise all night long interrupted my sleep. Maybe the heating pipes. The pillows were pure air. I used 4 and still slept head on the mattress. The shower kept changing hot and cold..
Yet another excellent stay at Inglewood Manor. We had the best afternoon tea I’ve ever had - and I have had plenty that have been very disappointing. Quality food with the added pleasure of lovely white starched table linen which unfortunately is a rarety these days. Evening meal again excellent. Staff all dressed smartly, very efficient and friendly. A special mention to Tom! Breakfast perfect, freshly cooked and piping hot. We had lovely room 12 at the front of the hotel. Can’t wait to return.
Nice walk around the grounds, but at present bring boots as it is water logged. Nice building and friendly helpful staff.
Couldn't get my shower to work properly, so had a bath instead. Very expensive for food although very nice. Didn't go for the Smoked Salmon and Scrambled eggs for breakfast as there was a £6 surcharge!!
