Location, staff, quality of food, room
Beautiful and peaceful location, a building full of character. Breakfast served with a lovely view across the grounds.
The room furnishings were somewhat dated, in keeping with the nature of the building.
Pretty countryside setting, tasty food, and pleasant staff.
My room was comfortable, good shower, decor a little tired and the carpet quite worn.
Lovely quiet place
Perfect location set in beautiful grounds. So peaceful. Sumptuous room
Lovely building
Only one main course under £25 and this was the same each night.
Well maintained, friendly staff and a perfect location for our stay.
Did not like the pillows as they were too soft.
Really comfortable and large suite. Nice and quiet. Hot bath was fabulous with plenty of hot water. Crisp bed linen and comfy bed. Lovely relaxing grounds. Pleasant and professional staff who were very helpful. Would definitely stay again.
Breakfast was adequate but there's some room for improvement - you had to pay extra for several options. No fresh berries or fruit salad; no natural yoghurt; muesli had run out; no fresh grapefruit. Maybe a little update needed with less pastries etc and healthier options like high protein options like chia seed porridge/acai smoothie bowl or scrambled eggs on toast (with no add on charge)
Friendly staff, lovely location, clean and tidy rooms.Good value, excellent breakfast.
A taste of elegance with modern facilities.
Could have done with better lighting around the EV charging points.
Beautiful building and food excellent. Staff nice, friendly and helpful.
There was a wedding on the day we checked out so the night before we ate in the function suite rather than the restaurant. The function suite was nice but not as cozy as the restaurant.
The room was spacious and clean, the wallpaper was lovely. The view to the garden was beautiful.the shower was powerful, and our room was lovely and quiet. The towels were soft and fluffy.
The wallpaper was lovely, but damaged in lots of places. The blind in the bathroom was stained and had a dead moth rolled up in it.
There was no orange juice or porridge for breakfast, they were waiting for supplies.
The whole Manor House is lovely and the grounds are outstanding
Pillows are a little bit too soft
