The accommodation was nice. Clean room and polite staff.
The breakfast wasn’t worth the cost. My full English was £16 and was well below my expectations. I’ve had better at local cafes for a lot less.
Room comfortable. Lots of parking. Great Location - handy for city visits, but quiet location in country. Full English breakfast excellent. Staff, especially at breakfast, very pleasant and helpful.
Noisy fan outside room 19, but didn’t disturb my sleep. A few cracked tiles in bathroom, but cosmetic defect only.
Beautiful setting
Beds very uncomfortable, very very thin mattress. Breakfast wasn't good value and very slow
Lunch in the bar / lounge , bar staff were friendly and helpful and efficient
Room was a jaded and in need of refreshing but it was clean. Good coffee /tea tray. Dinner in the restaurant was very disappointing as our order got missed and we were then told the chef had left after we had waited for nearly an hour for food. The staff on duty were good though , very apologetic and owned the mistake and didn't charge us for the food that we eventually received which was just mains and they could only offer cheese for desert.
Beautiful building in lovely grounds and a very peaceful location. Staff were all friendly and helpful.
Wasn’t able to stay longer!!
A lovely hotel, staff very friendly and helpful
The hotel has lovely grounds and you have a lovely view if you sit outside with a drink
Very clean room with everything in it
We have stayed here before and will stay again in the future.
Nothing to dislike
Quiet location and ambience
Room size
Gardens
Free parking and WiFi
Cost of drinks. Varied prices even when buying the same items.
I asked for the table to be dressed for my husbands birthday but this didn't happen.
When booking an executive room the impression given was that it was a four poster bed, it wasn't.
Proximity to north wales great value for money
Room very quiet
Liked the silver service breakfast rather than buffet
Room could do with some modernisation especially bathroom
All the staff was friendly and helpful, completely professional and treated you as their first priority
Nothing!!!!
The room was really beautiful and always warm. The view was also very pleasant over the huge lawn and garden.
Metal tea pots would keep the tea hot at breakfast.
Value for money, friendly staff, food was excellent, comfortable rooms and beds
Leaving
The grounds
Not enough staff, waited so long when I arrived. Not enough staff on to ban the bar.
Food expensive for what it was in main restaurant. Added cost for sides, and breakfast items when you have already paid for breakfast.
No welcome message for special occasions.
Good value for money .
Friendly day staff
Placers looking a bit old and dated
No hot water for 2 guests to have a shower in the morning .
Grumpy night staff
