The old-school vibe with a modern twist.
There was no TV remote in my room, and there was some damage in the bathroom (as well as quite a lot of ladybugs) The room was either boiling (when the heating was on) or if you turned the radiator off, it made a very high pitched noise. I will say that I did not let any member of staff aware of these issues, as it was just somewhere for me to sleep, so I wasn’t there for much time throughout my trip.
Lovely place but needs a revamp room was a bit shabby bar wasn’t open so had to sit in reception bar wasn’t open

A wonderful building in peaceful grounds. Lovely open fire. Brilliant and fast breakfast served by lovely staff.
A low humming noise all night long interrupted my sleep. Maybe the heating pipes. The pillows were pure air. I used 4 and still slept head on the mattress. The shower kept changing hot and cold..
Yet another excellent stay at Inglewood Manor. We had the best afternoon tea I’ve ever had - and I have had plenty that have been very disappointing. Quality food with the added pleasure of lovely white starched table linen which unfortunately is a rarety these days. Evening meal again excellent. Staff all dressed smartly, very efficient and friendly. A special mention to Tom! Breakfast perfect, freshly cooked and piping hot. We had lovely room 12 at the front of the hotel. Can’t wait to return.
Nice walk around the grounds, but at present bring boots as it is water logged. Nice building and friendly helpful staff.
Couldn't get my shower to work properly, so had a bath instead. Very expensive for food although very nice. Didn't go for the Smoked Salmon and Scrambled eggs for breakfast as there was a £6 surcharge!!
Just spent an overnight stay (7th Feb) with my husband.
From start to finish, we enjoyed every minute of this stunning old hotel.
A long driveway leads up to the beautiful Edwardian building, with plenty of car parking at the front and rear of the property.
The reception area is very welcoming, with lounge furniture and real log fire.
Very pleasant reception staff on duty.
Our room 8, was overlooking garden areas and was very quiet. Cozy warm room, comfortable bed, and nice fitted en-suite. Tea/coffee making facilities.
The evening meal was excellent, all
locally sourced and freshly made to order. The dining area is lovely and serves fine dining food. The dress code is smart-casual, no hoodies, shorts.
The dining room staff were very attentive, pleasant, and wore white gloves to serve our meals to us, a very nice touch. Lovely food choices on the menu, and very filling.
Breakfast the following morning was served in another area of the hotel. Again plenty of choices, friendly staff and delicious freshly made food.
Cannot fault this hotel at all. There was no ‘musty smell as a previous review had made. The hotel is extreme old and has lots of quirky features.
Will definitely return in the near future.
Definitely recommend 👍
Beautiful historical building
Lovely grounds
The room carpet was not properly laid. It looked shabby.
We did not get a room clean on our second day.
The dining room was so badly lit everyone was using their phone lights to read the menu.
The taxi we ordered through reception didn’t come.
My steak was badly overcooked and I had to return it.
Checked in and made to feel very welcome. Beautiful location, room comfortable, warm and clean. Staff attentive and pleasant. Breakfast freshly cooked to order, perfect poached egg! Lots of choice of cereal, fruit juice and toasts. Would love to stay again.
Gorgeous mansion that is both huge and cosy. In the style of a historical British mansion with a roaring fire. The staff are always lovely and the atmosphere is welcoming. There are board games available in one of the bars and nice local drinks on tap. The room was beautiful - 4 poster bed, sofa, chaise long and a desk with a full coffee machine, biscuits and drinks. Really nice bathroom products with a lovely scent. Lovely bath and double mirrors. Bed very comfy. Everything spotless. The staff had very kindly left a "happy anniversary" message for us which was such a lovely touch. The breakfast was so good, we really liked it all but especially the hash browns, scrambled eggs and mushrooms. Buffet style with full English hot food, pastries, cold breakfast foods and hot drinks, all fresh with no hidden costs and attentive service. A vegetarian option was provided with no fuss. The breakfast area looks over beautiful grounds where you can see ponds, gardens and birds. I really can't fault this value for money and we will keep coming back each year. They also do weddings and events.
We love this hotel and went with friends this time . Couple of issues with the room being really hot. We couldn’t turn off any radiators as we tried and still boiling. We slept (in January) while the windows wide open all night. We could have asked for assistance but the windows open were fine. Then overcharged by £50 the next day but that was put right when challenged. We also found the drinks really expensive.
Still a lovely hotel and lovely people so I suppose we will still go back
Carol & Dan was serving in the function was brilliant… Charlotte was rather miserable during service and very rude…..,
We went for afternoon tea which was a gift from our daughter and she had spoke to someone at the hotel and we believed we had been booked in. When we arrived they hadn't got us on the list. But we went to a table while they sorted this out. We had problems with the voucher code but one of the ladies did help us with this issue. Once everything was sorted the actual afternoon tea was very nice. Tea and coffee was plentiful which was appreciated. Venue was in nice surroundings and with nice views.
Really lovely hotel, nice decor for the period of the hotel. Every member a staff i had interaction with were lovely, polite and very helpful. Room was spacious (22) lovely views although the humming of the extractor fans from the kitchen was repetitive but nothing major unless you're a light sleeper. The bathroom was like a sauna, i walked in and the heat hit me but rather the heat than cold.
Evening meal was lovely, full board is £25 food allowance and anything over this price is chargeable. Calamari starter, i was very unsure of the coleslaw addition so didn't eat this as didn't look appealing at all. The Pork main was delicious and the yorkshire/dumplings were very nice.
Good nights sleep ( windows open ) comfy beds and pillows.
Breakfast was really good too.
Walked around the grounds before check out and although wet and grey it was still a lovely walk with fresh air.
Overall the value for the hotel is amazing for the what they offer.
Rooms were clean - maybe a little dusty on ledges and radiators but nothing was dirty. n
It's a beautiful building, loads of character.
The staff were really friendly and welcoming.
Arrived to a roaring open fire on a cold day, lovely
The main restaurant was closed this time, which is a lovely palacial wood panel room.
The other room was okay.

Just the temperature in the room really. I love heat but this was like a sauna. No lift
