I COULDN'T STAY - HOTEL CLOSED!!!!! NO HELP OR COMPINSATION FROM BOOKING.COM

THE PLACE WAS CLOSED!!!!!! YOUR REPRESENTATIVE WAS OF NO HELP - I COULDN'T SPEAK TO HER MANAGER. YOU BOOKED ME INTO A PLACE THAT WAS CLOSED!!! I SPENT MORE THAN 45 MIN. ON PHONE AND NO HELP FROM YOU!

This property has been closed since December 5 (I assume 2025)
Pros:

I can't say what I liked about the property because when I arrived it was deserted and there was a sign on the office door saying that due to a water emergency it had been closed since December 5, 2025 (I assume 2025; there was no year indicated and I was there on June 20, 2026). Nobody in the parking lot. Nobody in the office. Totally abandoned in all respects except for the signs on the office door (a second was from local government about tall weeds).

Cons:

It could have been open, not 9 p.m. and raining with what I thought was a reservation but was not.

We had to look for other accomodations when we drove up to a closed motel.
Cons:

This motel has been closed since December 2025. Booking.com made this reservation long after the motel was closed. Booking.com also charged me for the reservation. I will not use Booking.com again.

Do Not Book! This property is closed. We booked it and arrived at 6 pm to find it dark and closed.
Cons:

It would have been better if Booking.com had known and told us this property was closed Dec, 5, 2025 due to a water emergency and was still not open on Feb. 6, 2026. Getting to your motel after an 8 hour drive at 6 pm and finding it dark and closed was upsetting. We were in town for a family emergency and really didn't need this. Either the property should have pulled their listing or notifiedBooking.com they were temporarily unavailable. Very, very disappointed.

No stay it was closed!

When we got to the property it was closed! No notice no nothing/ had to go find another hotel☹️

Called Booking . Com and only got a recording no help - called the hotel direct and got a recording left a message- no one ever called back.kept r-mailing and texting- were told we will get a refund but we shall see. Evidently it had been closed for two months- why was it still listed on booking.com?

Very cozy place to stay.
Pros:

The motel was clean and within walking distance to our venue and several places to eat.

Cons:

Shower needed to be updated and the breakfast could use some upgrades also.
