⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Wir haben zwei Nächte im Humboldt Park Hotel & Spa verbracht und meine Familie und ich waren wirklich positiv überrascht. Alles im Hotel war außergewöhnlich sauber – man merkt sofort, wie viel Wert auf Hygiene und Pflege gelegt wird.

Das Personal war während unseres gesamten Aufenthalts unglaublich freundlich, aufmerksam und hilfsbereit. Man fühlt sich sofort willkommen. Besonders überrascht hat uns, dass wir in den zwei Tagen insgesamt vier kostenlose Tickets für Prosecco bekommen haben – eine sehr schöne Geste des Hotels.

Auch das Abendessen, das wir im Hotel gebucht haben, war großartig. Die Qualität des Essens war sehr gut und der Service ebenfalls. Das Frühstück war sehr abwechslungsreich, und ich fand es besonders schön, dass es sogar Grieß und Milchreis für Babys gab – das ist wirklich familienfreundlich.

Die Lage des Hotels ist einfach unvergesslich. Das Gebäude und die Umgebung haben eine ganz besondere Atmosphäre und machen den Aufenthalt zu etwas Besonderem.

Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt und würden jederzeit wiederkommen. Sehr empfehlenswert für Familien! ✨

Sehr enttäuschend! Abzocke! Finger weg von diesem Hotel!
Pros:

Die Grösse der Zimmer war erstaunlich - sehr hohe Decken, viele Fenster. Grosses Bad.

Cons:

Die Einrichtung des Zimmers war schäbig. Kaputte Möbel in einer Suite!, die Sitzkissen auf dem Sofa passten vom Stoff her nicht dazu, sie sind wohl ausgewechselt worden. Insgesamt war die Einrichtung lieblos. Der Fernseher war sehr klein, vielleicht 50cm Durchmesser.
Es gab keine Dusche. Dafür musste man umständlich in eine grosse Badewanne klettern und es gab keinen Duschvorhang. Wenn man rauskletterte, war alles nass und rutschig - sehr gefährlich. Das Wasser stank.
Die Minibar war sehr spärlich bestückt und es gab keinen Zimmerservice.
Die Betten waren hart, das Duvet synthetisch, klein und die Bettwäsche zu gross dafür.
Das Spa war schrecklich! Es stank fürchterlich nach Schimmel, ab Boden überall Pfützen, die von den Pantoffeln aufgesaugt wurden - eklig!
Die Sauna war viel zu klein - es hatten höchstens 4 Personen sitzend drin Platz - eine Pritsche war gebrochen. Es gab kein Licht und Aufgüsse waren nicht möglich, wegen der Gefahr eines elektrischen Schlags.
Der Wirlpool war ganz schlimm. Um reinzukommen musste man anhand einer Stahlleiter mit dicken, rutschigen runden Sprossen über eine Mauer in Höhe von mindestens 120cm klettern. Sehr gefährlich! Das Wasser darin war gelblich-grün und stank fürchterlich. Und von Sprudeln war keine Rede.
Wir hatten Halbpension gebucht und in einem 4*-Hotel erwarte ich da doch ein nettes Abendessen. Es gab aber nur ein spärliches Buffet mit einer kleinen Auswahl an Salaten und Hauptspeisen. Eine einzige Suppe und ein paar allerdings leckere Kuchen gaben für den zweiten Tag Hoffnung. Am zweiten Tag war Thailändisch angesagt. Das war wirklich schlecht. Wir hatten danach schreckliche Bauchschmerzen und Durchfall. Deshalb haben wir nachher nicht mehr im Hotel gegessen.
Das Frühstück war ebenfalls nichts besonderes. Nur, wer ganz früh da war, hatte einigermassen Auswahl an Broten. Kaum Wurstwaren, die Säfte waren stark verdünnt. Um 10 wurden die Gäste weggeschickt.
Der Mann, der die Autos umparkierte, hat darin geraucht.

A decent place in an optimal location. But make sure you park elsewhere before the check in.
Pros:

The location is perfect (near the river and tourist attractions but also close to the actual centre with shops and restaurants). Breakfast has lots of options and is overall quite good. Spa zone is small but decent. The furniture and rooms are fine. The building is pretty.

Cons:

“Private parking is available on site” — well, there is actually a small parking lot, but the reservation is not possible. It is packed, so in reality it is absolutely useless — don’t think it will help you in any way. Moreover, when I called the reception 10 minutes before my arrival, the receptionist answered that they have no parking available, and I needed to check in, after which she could advise me where to park. When I asked for the details, she replied: “I have no time to discuss this”. That’s a bit of a disappointing level of customer service, I’d say. I found a public parking lot in town and came to check in. Only after that I got a sheet of paper mentioning that… Entrance to the central area (where the hotel is located) is forbidden, and the driver will be fined by police if they drive to the hotel without the police’s prior permission. So basically if I listened to the receptionist I would have been fined! After which I would have gone to look for a proper parking lot… Moreover, when I asked if I had been calling her or someone else regarding the parking, she replied: “I don’t remember who called me…People are always asking about the parking”.
