Helpful and competent receptionist
Incredible view from room.
It's a bit of a walk, maybe 20 mins or so, to central station, canal boats etc.

Pretty expensive, but had no choice as accommodation in Haarlem was cancelled at the last minute
We purchased the breakfast and it was excellent.
The location was ideal for the Cruise Terminal but it was very difficult to access trams if you are not able to walk long distances or climb stairs.
Location. We could not easily access busses or teams to explore the city.
A special thank to the lady CARLOTTA who works at the hotel restaurant. She was very helpful and treated my family with great respect. My sincere appreciation and gratitude to this dedicated woman.
I did enjoy my trip to Amsterdam, however, I didn't enjoy my stay at Movenpick Hotel. The hotel is not as good as the Movenpick hotels in other places in terms of facilties, room furniture ... etc.
I had asked for late check out and they asked me for 25 Euro per hour. They said, because the hotel is fully booked. How come, if it is really fully booked, I must check out directly even with extra charge. There is no credibility.

Perfect location right next to cruise port entry. Walking from Amsterdam Central train station. Clean, quiet and comfortable!
Location is perfect as a cruise terminal depot. Hotel was clean and room was nicely appointed. Staff were friendly and attentive to our request. Breakfast buffet was much better than expected, the selection surprised us. My son loved the automatic pancake maker.
Since it’s close to cruise ships it means seeing the city sites or selection of restaurants was a little further out. Keeping this in mind helps if staying for multiple days.
Good location for us to wait to boar a cruise.
