The atmosphere of the hotel inside was good and everything was decorated tastefully. I loved the friendly staff who were good ghosts, very inviting and informative about Luxembourg city. They were great. The rooms were spacious and quiet. The water pressure inside the showers was also nice.
The room was a steady 24 - 25 degrees, day and night - as indicated by the indoor "climate control". The air in the room was also incredibly dry. Because of the heat and dryness, I could not sleep properly.
There was no way to adjust the indoor room temperature, except for opening the windows. This. Because the indoor climate control or airco didn't work. Upon opening the windows, we could hear much sound from the adjacent hotels' parking lot throughout the night so this was not an option either.
The bed was hard and uncomfortable. I felt individual springs from the bed poking in my back. My wife found the bed uncomfortable too. We both slept poorly.
Overall, I would rate this hotel 2/5 stars because it doesn't get the basics right, which is to offer a comfortable bed to sleep in at a normal temperature. I would not recommend this hotel and won't be coming back.
When I mentioned this to the staff in the morning, they did offer me free parking to make up for the overall experience. This again adds to the overal professional and pleasant experience the staff made.
Very friendly staff, quite location, parking on site for a fee.booked just before arriving in the hotel with no issues. Asked for a twin room overall good experience.
The room was too hot, there was nothing to do to change the temperature , the mattress kind of felt strange, parking for a fee not much to do around the hotel but close to the tram and bus, two stops downtown.
