Its fine for an overnight travel stay however we will pay more to feel less like being in a Motel.

The building itself was nice however, once I was in the room, I had an allergic reaction to the cleaning supplies that were used. Fabulosa is a very strong scented supply that I feel should not be used in hotels

We always stay at Hometown when traveling between FL and Chicago. Grest value for the price.

Off the main street but easy to get to. Great place to sleep for the night, will go again if ever in the area. A little older but clean and well maintained. Not a big breakfast. Very friendly staff.

The parking lot was very well lit & check in clerk was very friendly. I just needed a clean, quiet room to spend the night & this fit the bill. Breakfast was grab & go- muffins & packaged pastries. The coffee was very good

The leave the office locked up like they are scared. Makes you think it’s an unsafe area since they don’t want to deal with anyone. Breakfast was terrible, beds uncomfortable, seemed clean.

We have stayed at Home Town a number of times. A great half way point to Chicago. Very accommodating. Very friendly.

Nice place, quiet and secluded from traffic.
Good deal for the price. Room was clean and staff helpful. Breakfast was limited and ok for continental. No fruit or toaster. Parking was okay but would be tight if crowded.

Old hotel, but staff was super friendly, and the area was nice and quiet. Needed the rim for 4 of us just for a halfway point between Florida and Michigan, and it was right about half. Bed was comfortable, and room was old but good enough for the price point. Close to lots of food options.

I really don't understand why this place even has more the. 1 star reviews. The location isn't too bad maybe that's it? Other than that, it's a dirty hotel, especially for the price about $85 a night after taxes. I've stayed in motel 6s that weren't this bad! Check in was easy, parking is ok. Come up to the room, went to shower, mold along the caulking all around the tub. After seeing that thinking ok, not horrible but still, looked under the sink, lots of dirt, and hair chunks. Went to lay down, pulled back sheets, it looks like they don't do well washing them at all.

The doors in the hallway slam, constantly causing noises through the night. The AC somewhat works, and of course dirty, the floor is scuffed and damaged. Going down the stairs, completely dirty. Gave us 2 towels, wanted them to come in change sheets, they came in, put 2 towels and washcloths in, and left the room doing nothing else. DO NOT STAY HERE

ONLY PROBLEM WAS THE AIR CONDITIONING. IT WASNT ON. IN THE SOUTH MIDDLE OF SUMMER. VERY HOT. TOOO HOT TO SLEEEP THE FIRST NIGHT. WHEN ITS THIS HOT THEY NEED TO LEAVE THE AIR ON.

I like that the place was clean and quiet.

We were disappointed that the pool was not available.

Older hotel but very clean and friendly

Hi speed internet was non existent. Had less than 1 meg upload so, it was useless.
