Just there this last saturday (may 09) as was attending the boxing event at the venue.
Fairly large group attending as we knew one of the guys boxing that night so we were all out to support.
Three of us started at Tap 25 to have a bite. One had a burger and fries and said was pretty good. One had the clubhouse and said pretty subpar and said he wouldnt order again. I had the ten piece order of wings ($22 for ten wings, no sides); they were average at best, and not very crispy.
The Venue where the fights were actually being held is a decent enough facility for what it was. Drinks were average priced for this kind of facility.
My wife had driven myself and one of my friends so we could just catch an uber home. She stopped at Cree Subs and got some take-out. One Italian and one Chief sub. She enjoyed them a fair bit, and i had some when i got home. We both found the bread to be very dense, so very filling, and amount of toppings was decent to average.
All in all an enjoyable evening, though if we were to attend an event again we would most likely try a different restaurant.

This resort is forever going to be my favourite. This is second time we stayed here and I doubt I’ll be looking at any other hotel to stay at. Rooms are nice and clean, pillows are amazing, bed is very comfortable. Shower is the best. We had such a great sleep.
Price of room , too expensive, no incentives

Alot of police action
My wife and I just returned home to Holland, Michigan, in the United States. We traveled to Edmonton on Monday, and stayed for four nights at the River Cree Resort Hotel (March 30 through April 3). Our primary reason for being in Edmonton was to visit my wife's Mother, who is celebrating her 92nd birthday. She lives in a condominium on Glastonbury Boulevard, and this hotel is rather close. Apart from the construction disruptions that made parking somewhat challenging, we enjoyed our stay hotel very much. Our room was clean and quiet, the food in the restaurants was very good, and the cleaning staff did an excellent job with renewing our room each day. Except for one thing. Yesterday, when we returned to our room after time spent with my wife's mother, we noticed that a grocery bag containing some candy we can only get in Canada (Smarties, Coffee Crunch and several others) was missing. Our grandchildren here in the U.S. always ask us to bring these things back from our visits to Canada. We had spent about $60, and our gifts for our grandchildren were in that bag. But it was gone. I went to the front desk to ask about what might have happened. One kind front desk attendant said he would check into it. Later he called me in our room, and told me that he had talked with the cleaning staff, and no one knew why that bag of candy was taken from our room, or where it was. Later, the front desk staff sent a nice collection of other candies and two stuffed bears to our room as a thoughtful and caring response. But this morning, as we were packing to leave (we exited around 5:30 a.m., headed for the airport and our travels home), we found that three books my Mother-in-Law had given to my wife to read (they love the same kind of novels) were missing as well. More importantly, a CD that my Mother-in-Law gave to me was also gone. Today is Good Friday, and the CD was a Deutsche Grammophon recording of John Stainer's "The Crucifixion," one of the most powerful musical renditions of Jesus death that we commemorate on this day. We really liked staying at this hotel. We really appreciated the great cleaning service and the meals we had at the restaurants. We were very thankful for the follow-through the front desk staff took when we reported the "robbery" in our locked room. But the missing books and the very hard-to-get CD of Stainer's "The Crucifixion," especially with all of the family and religious memories attached to it, being taken from us are very hard to swallow. We know these things cannot be recovered, but we are saddened that this happened to us at this hotel. We will likely travel again to Edmonton to visit Brenda's mother, as long as God allows her to be with us this side of eternity. Until yesterday we would have immediately made plans for another stay at River Cree hotel for our next Edmonton visits. Now, with these losses and disappointments, we will look for other accommodations.
