Going back in time seeing Sri Lanka as she has gone by we had a romantic relaxing time
Pros:

We love the feeling of going back in time we love the service the quiet of the hotel the attention to detail we were half bored. The food was lovely. The only criticism was the road approaching. The hotel was very bumpy and very uneven but hey what an adventure.

Alte Fabrik, sehr originell und authentisch.
Geschmackvoll designed.
Gute Betten und -für mich wichtig-Verdunkelungsvorhänge.
Man kann Tea Tasting und Tea Plucking buchen-schön.
Auch ein Erlebnis in einem historischen Eisenbahnwaggon ist möglich.
Das Frühstücksbuffet lässt keine Wünsche offen.

A breathtaking, one-of-a-kind hotel offering total peace, stunning views, and exceptional service
Pros:

Heritance Tea Factory is an exceptional and truly unique hotel. Set at one of the highest points in Sri Lanka, it’s a beautifully preserved former tea factory with original features throughout, offering complete peace and seclusion after a scenic drive from the nearest town.

The views are absolutely breathtaking, almost unreal, and the hotel is wonderfully quiet, making it the perfect place to relax and switch off. We had a fantastic stay from start to finish.

All of the staff were outstanding, but we’d especially like to mention Thanyakaran for his excellent service in the restaurant, Krishna for the memorable tea plucking experience, R. Mutthusami for an incredible nature walk, and the spa team for a deeply relaxing treatment.

This hotel is something truly special and an experience we would recommend without hesitation.

Cons:

Bathrooms in the rooms could be refreshed, but not a problem.

Établissement hors norme permettant un voyage dans le temps au milieu des plantations de thé! Nous avons été surclassé dans une suite exécutive, chambre au style anglais cozy! Nous avons eu toutefois un peu froid la nuit couverture a disposition.
Le dîner sous forme de menu plusieurs plats était irréprochable ! Nous avons été servi par M. Thivyaraj qui était au petit soins!

This was probably the biggest disappointment in Sri Lanka. Stay in the city.
Pros:

Mmm … difficult to find really positive points. Even the free tour was disappointing. The staff was friendly, but we are still waiting for the tea at breakfast

Cons:

The bathroom very old as the carpet. Very noisy … dinner too expensive and not really good. Massage with hidden costs. Difficult to reach and not really worthy. We paid too much for this room. 300 usd for one night is unacceptable. This was probably the biggest disappointment in Sri Lanka.

Pros:

Awesome views, very interesting location, used to be a real tee factory high up in the hills and above the clouds. Good spa and extremely welcoming and helpful staff. Nice cosy restaurant.

Cons:

The road to the property is narrow and winding. The property feels slightly overpriced, but is still probably the best hotel near Nuwara Elia.
