The Heritance Tea Factory is truly a special place. The building of the former tea factory has been beautifully preserved and transformed into a unique hotel full of character and history.
Even on rainy days, it felt very comfortable and cozy — a wonderful place to relax and enjoy the peaceful atmosphere.
The view from the room and from the hotel grounds is absolutely breathtaking: green hills, tea plantations, and mist create an unforgettable setting.
In front of the hotel, there is a lovely terrace with several tables where you can enjoy a cup of tea while admiring the tea plantations and the historic factory building itself. It is a truly special experience.
The staff deserve the highest praise — attentive, friendly, and genuinely caring.
The restaurant also deserves special mention: the food was delicious, varied, and beautifully presented.
This is a place you want to return to and one that will stay in your memory for a long time.
The property is beautiful
The bathroom is dated and needs touch up and renovation. The spa also needs to be maintained and made presentable.
We had a wonderful two night stay at Heritance Tea Factory with our family, including our two kids. The whole experience of staying in a converted tea factory was truly unique and memorable.
Our kids absolutely loved exploring the mini tea factory and walking through the tea gardens ,it was both fun and educational for them. It’s a great place for families who want something different from a typical hotel stay.
A special mention to Keshawan and the restaurant team, who did an amazing job taking care of us. Their service was warm, attentive, and made our stay even more enjoyable.
Overall, a fantastic family getaway in a beautiful setting. Highly recommended!
Everything was amazing
The payment was a bit complicated
Beautiful location. Perfect place for relaxation. Wonderful staff. They are so committed that they act like they own the hotel. Tea plucking experience with Krishna was memorable, while the flower garden maintained by Pathmaraj was amazing!
Limited (though tasty) choices on the menu and the time taken to serve. Suggest to accept orders from the room prior to coming down to the restaurant. Meals given to drivers are not up to standard.
We had an amazing stay here. Hotel, staff, food, location, view.... everything is perfect.
La struttura ché ti fa' tornare indietro nel tempo
In camera phon a parete e assolutamente poco adatto all' uso . Si spegne in continuazione
High in the mountain tea plantations, beautiful gardens and grounds, spectacular interior, lovely staff, food was very good. Gardener showed us around the garden explains about all the plants and topiary, the onsite working tea factory was interesting, the tea being picked on the estate manufactured and sold in the hotel.
Nothing
Beautifully restored hotel in former tea factory with lots of original features still present . Stunning location, you can watch sunrise over the tea plantations and valley.
Food in the restaurant in the evening was really good with lots of choice.
They offer a fine dining"experience" in a former train carriage. It was a fun thing to do and the food was excellent but at $100 per person it is overpriced.
We experienced issues with communication both via booking.com messages and at the hotel. They took 6 weeks to respond to a query, finally replying 2 days before our stay meaning it was too late to amend my (flexible) booking.
The breakfast buffet disappeared on our second day and we had to choose "a la carte" western or European- limited choice. No explanation or apology for the change.
Service was very slow and we frequently had to go to reception to ask them to send a waiter so we could order drinks. Once we found a member of staff they were lovely!
We missed seeing the giant fan turn on because no one told us
A local village festival gave us a rude awakening at 6am due to very loud music, prior warning and we could have worn ear plugs.
We loved the hotel itself and if you want to stay in a former tea factory in all it's glory then go. But overall we felt a bit underwhelmed.
The 360 degrees view in our room. The warm welcome. The beautiful furniture and fittings and the dining room.
Nothing
The staff were really lovely. We went on a tour around the hotel and truly enjoyed it — our guide was very friendly and made the experience even better. The hotel itself was, of course, very beautiful. The view from our hotel room was especially beautiful
La chambre ne correspond pas à un 5 étoiles ni les équipements.
The staff could not do more for you very friendly
This property was very difficult to get to very narrow road with the price we paid per night surely they could make the road safer
