What an experience
Pros:

What an amazing hotel. All the rooms are great and what a superb experience.

impressive ice carvings and a very unique experience
Pros:

Visited the ice hotel during the day and it is quite stunning to see all the ice carvings in the rooms. The ice hotel is maintained at -5C so make sure you wear warm layers to comfortably tour the rooms as you need at least 1h and a half to fully appreciate all the details. I didn’t have the chance to walk along the lake where the ice comes from but it looked like a nice add on. I had the buffet lunch at the restaurant and it was well priced and excellent value. Highly recommend as a day tour if you don’t stay there.

Magisk iskonst presenterad på ett fantastiskt sätt.
Pros:

Väldigt bra bemötande av all personal på området. De var så serviceminded och alltid med ett leende och gjorde sitt nästa för att tillgodose alla önskemål. Språket är engelska, (inte så mycket svenska), men det fungerade bra. Jag bodde i varm stuga. Sängen var bra och salongen var ok. Det ingår entré till ishotellet under dagtid, vilket uppskattas. Frukosten ingår och är riklig och i trevlig miljö. Under vintersäsongen när det är temporära rum skulpterade bara för detta året är en fantastisk konstnärlig upplevelse.

Cons:

Det var opersonligt och spartanskt boende. Det fanns kyl, vattenkokare och micro samt porslin till exakt 4 personer. Disken sköttes vid den dagliga städningen, men jag hade gärna haft möjlighet att diska själv då porslinet tog slut om man ville äta både lunch o kvällsmat i stugan. Det finns 2 restauranger i Jukkasjärvi och man rekommenderas att boka bord för kvällsmat. Det är högt pris i restaurangen och lite typ fine dining. Saknar bistro eller enklare restaurang på området eller i byn.

OK, glad we stayed but expected more.
Pros:

A very unique experience that you will not find elsewhere. The location is amazing and the art/design is too. The equipment provided to ensure you dont get cold is very good too.

Cons:

All felt very impersonal and over processes. No heart in the visit and all over commercialised now. Rather a victim of its own success. There are MANY rooms and loads of people staying and there was no real atmosphere of fun or excitement generated. The Ice Bar was a complete letdown!

Shopping trip to Kiruna and had to stay somewhere overnight
Pros:

Surroundings and reception staff. We got a good last minute discount deal so we feel that was a fair price for the normal double room.
